Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Was so hungry this morning, also was wanting carbs .. Had a gluten free roll and some dark chocolate - feeling bit better now ... Weird really as I'm not normally hungry after a fast/ low cal day.. Maybe I didn't have enough veggies/ meat on my last up day??

Scales up today - but that's normal after an up day.. I'm sure they will be up tomorrow too

I think I did quite well today :)
breakfast - arrowroot pancakes with berries and yogurt

Nothing till lunch at 1pm - now in the past I would have tucked a little snack in my bag - was not worried - no sign of a panic attack because I didn't have the all important "SNACK" in my bag.., shock horror lol was in the car for 2 hours no snacking - that's a change too - cars trips are normally all about having a few bits .. Even the kids just had water and fruit, no crisps or sweets ( haha!!)

Today went visiting family, Chinese lunch - no rice or noodles but plenty MSG .. And I know it takes 2/3 days for the effects to depart by natural means lol

Walked around shopping centre and OH treated us to a Starbucks hot choc - the med size was huge!! Had about 1/2 - OH looked at me aren't you going to finish it - nope I've had enough lol funny enough my boys who had a choc coin each piped up after eating 1/2 don't want any more I've had enough choc lol - kids not wanting to finish the choc - yay ! Maybe they have seen the light lol

Snack today : 3/4 apple while cooking dinner - kids only wanted a bit - didn't want to waste the rest of the apple - ok if it was sweets or choc would go in the bin or back in cupboard :) have not been eating as much fruit apart from berries - so enjoyed having it.

Dinner: lamb chop, few microwave chips, broccoli and carrots - followed by strawberries in dark choc, plus a few bits peppermint dark choc - and 3 harribo min jelly babies

Looking forward to my fast day tomorrow ! I'm also looking forward to going to kettlercise (after 2 weeks off.. Ouch!) - all going well with kids (fingers crossed!!) school back tomorrow - at least that what the school web site says .. Please be true!!

Well as expected scales up (1.2kg) since WI and 2 up days.

Fasting today, plus kettlercise, and hopefully Wing chun tonight ..

Breakfast/ brunch : primal choc shake made with coconut water.. Prob have after kettlercise class ..
Lunch: thinking of salad with tuna...

Dinner: primal shake again...

Plus loads water

Really enjoyed the kettlercise class, my shoulder had been aching loads recently and I am hoping that going back to class will help with that! I've still been doing my Physio exercises most days but has not been helping.. Doing the general house work is irriating it me thinks - just the action of vacuuming and mopping most days .. I think I will be asking to be re-referred back to a Physio just to get it checked out.,

Sounds like you have had a good few days Hun, definAtely get yourself back if your shoulder is still giving you jip x

Spoke to doctor and she wants to see me, before she refers me back .. She advised to not do the kettlercise till after I'd seen her.. Too heavy etc.. um Im using a 2 or 3kg weight.
so Im of-course continuing with class as I think it is the kettercise that is helping my shoulder feel less achy - haven't been to kettlercise for 3 odd weeks and my shoulder is feeling more achy now than when I was going to class regularly ...

It's not aching now and for the 1st time I was able to remove my sports bra using both hands, crossed and over my head... Normally I look like I'm escaping from a tied straight jacket .. My OH laughs just watching me lol I end up red faced and sweaty just getting the sports bra off!

I know my legs are going to "hurt" tomorrow :(

Fasting today, felt great after doing my kettlercise class, didn't eat till just after 12 noon, but must say I was really hungry!! Shake disappeared quick and gobbled down my mixed salad with plenty of water .. Doing ok at mo., but the smell of the hairy dieters tangine is smelling way to nice!!

Finished today on.. 674 kcal / had a small bowl of Mainly sauce with a few bits of meat - of the HD lamb tagine .., and a bit of mash .., was really yummy.. But realized I forgot the honey, and I don't add the chickpeas or sweet potatoes .. It doesn't need them :)

I think i need to dust my Hairly Dieters cook book off and experiment with some of the reciepes again - the tagine sounds lovely.
 
Have had a massive hungry day.. Gave up tracking in the end.. Was going to fast tomorrow but I think I will just have a low kcal day, lots good protein and veg !! Still kind of hungry .,

Just realized my cravings for salt have kicked in too.. So this is the craving that effect me in my lead up to my TOTM - I'm 14 day away from being due on .. I'm aware of it now - I will not give in!

Doing a low kcal day today trying to keep under 1000 kcals

Interesting after my fast day and exercising on same day - I was heavier than after my up day ., I'm assuming it has to do with muscles retaining water etc?

I'm sure you have the shortest cycle ever lol!!!

Maybe you should see the gp for advice on hormonal control to avoid all these cravings?! It's worth a shot and might stop you eating KFC especially bc that's got to be affecting your losses or at least of imagine - just by retaining water. just the fat and salt content is high ! Just seems totm seriously affects you and your diet (I get it affects everyone but you don't seem to get any break!) ! They might be able to help! Xx
 
I'm taking P only pill to control my period as its extremely heavy and is 8 days long - the pill has helped with lightening my period - but it's still as long :( I now have a 27/28 day cycle where are normally it's 31/32 days long .,

So week of TOTM cravings gone, week after no cravings. Last 2 weeks - cravings !! Salt and carbs ..

Am so hungry today !! But am being good lol

Maybe that pill doesn't suit you then?! It's just a theory though! X
