Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

The pill is ok . I've always had cravings 2 weeks before TOTM just when not on the pill my cycle is longer ., with this pill I didn't get the weight gain - I was already "fat " when I started it lol and haven't put any more on ., I'm just loosing the gain I put on when coming off the tramadol ..

Mmmm last 2-3 days not feeling myself .. Bad cravings and just feel "not quite right" headache, tired, lack of energy .. I'm wondering what they thickened the chinese sauces with On Sunday., As that about the only thing I've eaten thats majorly out of my normal way of eating ., Normally I can have the glutamine tables and they help with cravings, or I just have a bit of potatoes/ chips and that helps.. Nope, and I'm just hungry but know I'm full - if that makes sense?!

I have this feeling that I want to eat some thing, but just can't figure out what it is! Normally I would rove around the house and just eat a bit of every thing.. I've not done that! But the feeling just won't go away!!!

I figured out what I had been doing to myself! I had found some cordial I bought ages ago and had been drinking it.. Without tracking it and had not bothered to look at sugar content !! All cravings caused by drinking "sugar", feel like crap! How did I get through the years feeling like this all the time! I used to drink Ribena every day, all day!!

I have sugar poisoning !! Causes hunger, that can't be satisfied, am feel like I'm under a cloud! Stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh sooooo stupid!! !!!!! !!!!

Tara you'd have to eat several boxes of sugar cubes to get sugar poisoning you nutter ;)

How about 1/2 a bottle of cordial since Monday? Ok maybe a bit dramatic lol but normally I don't have much or any sugar now or I use other types of fake sugar or honey/ maple syrup .

my head has been spinning since I started using the cordial.. Only just figured it out this morning as I was reaching for the bottle - I tipped it down the sink :) it's the only other thing I've changed food wise in the last few days.

Not sure how long it takes for my body to get rid of the sugar "poisoning" lol cravings etc

Had an early night last night, but still am so sleepy!! Feeling so blah!! Having a low kcal day ..
Scales are 1.3kg up since last Saturdays WI fingers crossed for tomorrow !

Ok the Chinese put a spanner in my low kcal day.. But still ok ish .. Don't see much hope for tomorrow's WI ..

I'm hoping this horrid sleepy/ out of sorts feeling goes away like soon!!!

Had no cordial since, Wednesday ( I think?) my head is a bit clearer today, just have this sleepy - I can't be bothered doing stuff feeling, can't even be bothered to read in my kindle .. Weird really !! Just want to curl up and sleep..,

Early night, and lesson learnt! No cordial for me ever again!

Really struggling with my hunger and cravings for carbs .. Tried the gluten free bread, gluten free triple choc cookies .. Nope my "hunger daemon" doesn't fancy those things lol which is good in a way :).

Cause I normally crave those week/ few days before my period.. Therefore my cravings before my period are different... to what's driving them now!? It's just a feeling of not being able to feel full, I might have just eaten but my head is hungry for something!

I've not fallen into the mindless eating abyss I've avoided .. Crisps, normal biscuits, wheat bread, pasta, etc like I might have in the past.. But my head is trying hard to talk me into it .. No I'm sticking to my Dark Choc ( even said no to harribos) potatoes, nuts, rice and some icecream to try and get back to where I was!! These are normal things I include in my diet in limited amounts, I'm finding it hard to limit them now .. Grrrr! I will get it back in line and under control by Monday!

Ok could have been worse I'm 1.8kg up since last weeks WI .. On a good note the raving lunatic who has been eating too much last few days has left lol. I'm feeling more in control today (so far)!

Just made kids wholemeal spelt flour pancakes with sweet freedom - as a change from eggs and bacon lol no more cereal in the house.. They accept this now lol very little bread eaten by kids now. Doesn't fill them up - just makes them hungry for more stuff .. Bacon and eggs fills them up and they don't want as much junk.,, trying to wean my youngest chocolate monster off mcvities hazelnut choc muesli bars .. He has a big temper on him!

My fridge is empty apart from some veggies and 1 egg.. Big shop today!

That'll soon come off once you get back on plan... Do you think the 5:2 is working for you? Your cravings seem worse since you have been on it..?

I've noticed I need to get some stepping done today, not far behind me mrs x

My cravings seem less actually, and my hunger has been less.. it's just the last week, with the cordial "gate" issue lol. I really can't believe how alwful I felt all week! Today I feel so much better!!

In some ways the fasting allows me to be a bit naughty lol and enjoy some ice cream ;) etc

Been to supermarket, catching up slowly lol

Could have been so much worse if you had given in to them craving. I bet it will be gone and more by next week. :)

I'm hoping with a good fasting and food week it will magically disappear :)

Also bought some chromium picolinate to help!

Tara it took two to three weeks to get into my system properly and notice a difference but I've definately noticed that it works as two weeks ago I ran out if chromium and decided to not buy any as I was running down my individual supplements bc I discovered a herbalife supplement that had got all my individual ones included in it so it was going to be a lot cheaper. But after this week of carbville I've ordered some more online. I can't put it off any longer
