Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Love the smell of meat cooking, cheese, sardines and pickles lol broccoli tastes lovely and a bit sweet. Maple syrup tastes funny - not how it normally does.. Early days yet ;)

bread and baked beans smells yucky, potatoes tasted like nothing but just not nice .. Loving sweet potatoes
 
Not really a fan of pickled eggs. My mum used to make them - but must say I have not tried them as an adult ;)

Decided that after doing some googling about exercise while pregnant .. I would continue going to my kettlercise class - I also spoke to my instructor who is qualified in loads of different types of fitness programs including pregnant woman.

So I took it easy and stopped when I felt I was getting to hot, or that my heart rate was going up - I drank plenty of water during the class. HRM said Kcals of 497. Ave HR of 130 Max of 165 feeling fine now apart from the usual jelly legs lol

My recovery rate was good, my HR came back down easily too.
 
My aims for this pregnancy.. To limit my weight gain and exercise safely ..
 
Finally bought some blackout liners for our bed curtains .. I've put 1/2 up .. What a big big difference :) will do the rest tomorrow !
 
Had to put on a skirt today, all my trousers are putting pressure on my waist area and making it sore .. So it's pulled up under my boobs and comes to my knees.. So boots it was lol my knees were a little chilli :) I'm sure with my youngest son I didn't start having this issue till much later.. All my trousers fit they just are so uncomfortable to wear!
 
Oh no I cooked hairy diets lamb tagine and it's smells ok to me but tastes foul!! I know it's nice as I've not changed anything ..

So can add to my list of things I now don't like
Lamb.. Even the smell is now starting to bother me :(

What to have for dinner now .., I've run out of tuna and sardines .. Still have pickled onions .. Hmmm
 
Diet day for me again today ..
Lunch: pickled onions, beetroot, gluten free sausage roll, lettuce, spicy salami, cherry tomatoes, mayo, sardines.. Cranberry cheese.. 583 kcals
 
Dinner: rump steak, broccoli, asparagus, sweet potato.. Total for day.. 1283 inc some dark choc later .. I think I'm going to call this kcal cycling lol

Off to visit niece tomorrow, she's just had a baby Girl.. so lunch at her's and about 4-5 hours in the car .. Prob takeaway dinner too. Boys are going to stay with their older girl cousins..
 
WI today was a 400g gain .. Feeling really bloated - need to start drinking more lemon and ginger tea and more water

I noticed I've not been drinking as much on my higher kcal days .. Struggling to drink my 2L .. Yesterday I made an effort to drink more during the day and needed to pee all night lol and am feeling much less bloated today :)
 
Went my kettlercise class this morning - wasn't sure about going as was feeling a bit tired. Glad I went feel bit more perky now, I also know it's good for my body strength wise.

1st time since I had my shoulder operated on in Aug 2012, that I've managed to do 1/2 push ups ., whoop :) thrilled !! I've been doing them on the stairs and kitchen sink but not on the floor ., so happy :)

HRM kcals 484 Ave HR 125 and MAX HR of 165 - feeling good and no dizzy feelings or feeling over hot.
 
My scales are mean this morning .. Even after a lower kcal day they are up 500g .. Silly scales after a DD they are meant to be lower .. Oh well more water and some lemon and ginger tea .
 
My tummy is actually growling .. I know it's gurgling but I swear it sounds like a wild animal ..
