Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Glad I managed to resist - as it used to be a bad habit! When I was pregnant with my youngest all I wanted for lunch was a thin crispy veg pizza no sweet corn with ham and loads of pineapple. It was hard breaking that habit - don't need to start it up again!

Def not if you've already gone to the trouble of kicking it! We make pizza topped roast aubergine slices sometimes which is very nice and has some of the pizza-y flavour. :)
 
I feel really out of sorts today! Headache, bloated, slight nausea, bad wind- prob getting what ever my youngest woke up with - coughing and vomiting since 7am this morning - slight back ache - if I hadn't had my TOTM about a week ago I would say I'm getting it back!

Good news is that my stiffness in my legs and bum is almost gone - got my OH to help me stretch my legs lol ;)

Oh no poor you.. I am glad the stiffness is gone so you aren't suffering from both.

Wi tomorrow if it is anything like this mornings - will be a sts - even tho I've had a better week food wise :) like not eating cheesecake lol and cals have been less generally too

The path back to where I was is full of temptations ;). Begone you thoughts of pizza and all things sweet and carby begone!

Just hand me my throat lozenges before you go zzzz lol
 
WI today down 200g (.4lbs) - am happy it's down from last week :)

I had hoped that it would have been more, but will have to be next week..

Still feeling drained and have a sore throat and headache, but will take my meds and hope it helps :)
 
Throat still sore..nose starting to run.. OH has temp and thinks the world is ending.. He imagines he's going to work in the morning lol - only place he will be going is A&E if his tonsils come up! He gets really bad tonsillitis and needs strong antibiotics, his tonsils get so big they almost block his throat! Can't see me getting much sleep!
 
Thank goodness OHs temp has gone this morning and he seems ok .. Just grumpy and determined to go to work.
 
He didn't give me much choice! Just gave him the cold and flu tablets and I will have to hope he takes them !
 
I have found it really hard to get back to not eating carbs - yesterday I finally threw out the FOod Doctor granola - I am finding it too easy to eat, for breakfast - I'm being lazy to cook myself something better!

Had a better day today sticking to less easy carbs. Managed to keep my total carbs less than 150. Need to be strong and put the Lindt hazelnut chocolate - in the bin or make my OH eat it! It's meant to be dark choc but is only 34% cocoa solids not 60 or 70% like my other ones.

My goal total carb wise is to eat between 100-150 daily. Hopefully on the lesser side.
 
I feel awful this morning - I have a really bad stomach ache! Had it from last night and its making me feel sick!!

There's 2 things I can think off..
A) I made a Xmas cake for my grandma, plus 3 cup cakes.. I made the cake with wheat flour etc and I ate 2 of the cupcakes (like 1 slice of cake) Ok didn't feel great on Sat night either - but was ok yesterday..
B) I ate some Lindt hazelnut choc yesterday - said dark choc but was really only 34% cocoa :(

Can't think of anything else., will just have to wait till it works its way through me ;(

Only had 5 almonds and water for breakfast today.. Not keen to eat much else at the moment!
 
It's awful when you feel like that, maybe try some soup later on x
