Ahh that's good to hear! I haven't tried it as a cheese sauce yet (its just what it reminded me of when I ate it!) so glad it was tasty :) x

You've got to try it Rosie....I have tried many cheese sauces to go with lasagne and this is definitely the best one so far! X

I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it - I've been like a dragon today....me and being hungry = angry/moody ...plus I have a killer of a headache this evening, I will give another fast day a go on Sunday then weigh in Monday and see how I do, thinking I may get used to fast days the more I do?

I imagine its being hungry thats given you a headache?...prob blood sugar levels are low or something from not enough food/energy?
I think it's something you would need time to adjust to, although i don't think i could go hungry for too long myself :D
perhaps do your own thing and have say 800 cals instead of 500?...see if that's any better?

Yeah I was thinking maybe 500 then I could at least have a yoghurt thrown in there somewhere too....very tired this evening also, definitely a draining way of dieting..really desperate to shift these last 6/7lbs though and think I need to be abit strict to achieve it!

I really struggled with 5:2 after a couple of weeks- the hunger made me grumpy and exhausted. Being a veggie as well when I did it I probably didn't choose high enough protein- maybe something to consider?
Make sure your drinking plenty in case that's the cause of your headache- though I too am inclined to think its blood sugars. That will be making you feel hungry too.
It's supposed to work by cutting your weekly cals- could you maybe do three fast days but use more cals? My maths is bad but it can't be hard to work out lol.
Its frustrating but the last few lbs seem to take forever to shift. I'm in the same boat but its cos I keep faffing xx
