MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

Food looks tasty..minus the gherkins imo! I love the LM sausages, not had them in ages. Have 2 boxes which have been in freezer for months..think i'll dig them out and have with mustard mash and veggies. Yum! x

Omg!! Don't be hating on the gherkins! :D

They were gorgeous and I don't know why they work so well with ham but mmmm nom! Xx

Everything but beetroot for me... Beetroot just tastes of mud in my opinion. Tried to like it but just can't *bleugh*
 
Minks how do u get your roasted veg so nice?! With frylight I can never quite 'get it' ! X

I try and cut it all in to the same size pieces, spray liberally and put either a sprinkle of normal salt or garlic salt over. This helps bring the moisture out of onions and courgettes (a little tip I picked up for frying!).
Half way through I shake everything about, respray and back in. 10 mins from cooked I shake again and then done.

Took me quite a while to get it right! Oh! And I always put foil down underneath the veg. Don't know if that makes any difference though?? Xx

I had this conversation, the other day, you've had a sheltered childhood if you can't look at anything in the house, except the dangerous stuff which was put away in the cupboard, and not know how it tastes? Come on? Everyone has licked a mirror or window? Haven't they?
 
Now that I've done lol - Also ( and this really is minging) mam and dad would never let us having chewing gum as kids so sis used to pick it up off the ground outside and chew it (grit/mud and all) yurkkkkkkk
