We made the pork two weekends ago and it was lush! I do love pulled pork it's well tasty :D hope it turns out good, make sure you take loads of pictures xx

Hiya, let me know how you get on with the mac and cheese. Was gonna make it a couple of days ago, but the weather was too hot for something so filling. Look forward to your review and any tips. Have a good weekend xx

Morning all :) woke up late and need to rush off to legs bums & tums so will have to weigh in after.

I shall take a photo of my mac & cheese, am looking forwards to it, it looks and sounds like its going to be well nice! I got some low fat Red Leicester which I haven't had forever & am even thinking of having some of it for cheese on toast tomorrow! Yum.

Right I'm off for some pain, here we go xx

All worked out :)

Weigh in = 1lb on. Bit deflated but nothing I can do just gotta suck it up and move on. Hopefully next week I will lose something. I need to do my measurements as my clothes are looser for sure.

I'm having a lazy day after my work out. Sitting on the sofa with a coffee at the moment. I'm going to have a green day I think, think being the word. So far I have planned;

Breakfast, 3 quorn sausages (the new ones that are lower in fat), 2 eggs, grilled toms (s) & garlic covered mushrooms (s) with bread allowance, 1 tbsp EL mayo & 1 syn ketchup. (2 syns) - HEb.

Lunch, Home made potato salad - Potatoes, 1 tbsp EL mayo, onion (s) & tomatoes (s). (1 syn)

Tea, lean ham (HEb allowance), red peppers (s) and mac & cheese (including tomatos (s), spring onion (s) & mushrooms (s) ) from SW mag (HEa).

Snacks; hot chocolate (2 syns), fat free fromage frais mixed in with hot chocolate powder (2 syns). Coffee (HEa)

Drinks; 3 glasses (400ml each) squash. 500ml bottle water. 1,700mls water = 7 glasses.

7 syns,
7 glasses water.
8 speed food.

I'm pleased to have found out the 'back by popular demand' quorn sausages are syn free hurrah xx

Soooo, I'm spending today relooking through my 2012 SW books, I've already realised that you can have cheese as a HEb on green, something which I had already forgotten which means I can mix it up a little bit, and I had forgotten you could have meat on a green day as well as a HEb too!

So far today I've had:

2 slices WM bread (60g) as HEb.
100mls milk from my 250ml allowance as HEa. No doubt I'll have another coffee before the day is through for this HEa.
I'm having my allowance of cheese in the mac & cheese for my second HEa.
I'm going to have the 90g allowance of lean ham as my second HEb.

Sorted! I need to start mixing things up a bit and having different things and that way I can start shifting the weight again.

Looking back at my weight loss since I started again in January I've lost a total of 31lbs, 2 stone 3lbs in 4 months, not too bad really considering! 8 weeks left until my holidays begin, if I could just lose 2lbs a week until then I would be ever so pleased with myself. Come on body, let's get going.

I have just been reading a thread on here called '777 week' and I am so doing it. (http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world/242201-777-week-bring.html).

I think this could potentially be quite fun and will help me keep my intake of fluids up. I've seen some people say it's just speed foods from the fruit & veg list and others say it includes all speed foods however I'm going to do it following only fruit & veg as I want to try and keep my intake of that up.

I'm starting from today!

I won't post my food yet again today as I've already done it but I'll list all my superspeed portions.

B: mushrooms, tomatoes.
L: red onion, tomatoes.
T: Spring onions, tomatoes, tomato puree, peppers & mushrooms.

Syns: 2 for EL mayo, 1 ketchup, 2 hot chocolate. = 5 so far.
Drinks: 1 glass diet cherryade.

Just cooked my mac & cheese and I must have done it kinda wrong as it was really liquidy and the yoghurt split. I halved all the ingrediants to make it a 2 person jobby however there was enough there for at least 4 people, I think I guess I put too much stock in (although it says 400mls and I only used 200mls), I've seen photos of others who have made it and it was no way as gloopy as mine.

I must say though it was DELISH. Properly cheesy. I used 50% reduced red leicester as I'm sure it said reduced fat but it didn't say that so I just used the allowance of HEa worth.
& I have enough left for another day! Woohoo. I'm probably going to freeze this and keep it for another day :D

Had some pudding tonight too so I've used all my syns today :D Sainsburys Be Good To Yourself Fromage Frais mixed in with a fudge highlight hot chocolate, yummers. I'm going to update one of my above posts with all todays food & drink in it :D xx

Hello diary! Hope we are all well today?
I've been up since 11am, I haven't had breakfast yet as I have been busy eBaying this morning! My tummy muscles are feeling sore today from Legs, Bums & Tums yesterday although I'm not moaning about it because it strangely feels nice! Haven't worked those muscles for ages so fingers crossed they'll start helping me to tone up a little.
I have not a frigging idea about food today, I was going to make a SW friendly roast dinner but when I opened my freezer all that is in there is 4 portions of extra lean mince beef and 1 portion of diced turkey so I am having a rethink. I got some of the mince out so I might just make mince, gravy & potatoes for dinner, I bought some leeks yesterday that I really fancy and I can bulk the mince out with some onions and mushrooms & a bit of tomato puree. The other thing I was thinking of making was a lasagne as I have some of the morrisons cheese sauce which is 4.5 syns for the whole packet apparently, I just cannot decide.

I think I'll be having an EE day. I was thinking about using some of the low fat red leicester I have and having cheese and mushrooms on toast for breakfast, although by the time I get round to cooking anything it will be about 2pm as I'm lazing in bed right now, that'll be my HEa and HEb used up. No doubt I'll be having a coffee so can use some of my 7 syns on that. I know I'm using 2 syns on gravy that's already been decided in my head.

So this is food for today I reckon:

Breakfast/Lunch: 2 slices WM bread (HEb) with 40g reduced fat red leicester (HEa), spring onions (s) & mushrooms (s).
Snack: Pineapple (s)
Dinner: EL mince, potatoes, onions (s), mushrooms (s), tomato puree (s), gravy (2 syns) & leeks (s).

Thats my 7 speed foods.
2 syns on gravy! I'm sure that I'll have 1 syn of milk with a coffee later.
I have drunk 2 glasses of water so far! 5 to go.

Oh my gawwwwd. Lunch was properly good! I had:

image-1468109313.jpg

Which was my 60g allowance HEb bread - the 3 slices all came to 60g as it was the smaller bits at the end of the loaf, woohoo. 40g of red leicester reduced fat for my HEa and then I had an extra 28g of it for 3.5 syns if google is correct. I put lean ham on it and mushrooms and spring onions and grilled it and it was so nice. After not having "proper" cheese for so long I felt like I had really indulged <3

So good.

Oh that cheese looks amazing! I want some lol xx

40g for a HEa = plenty :D do it.

Foodage today;

Lunch as above (cheese on toast, nommers).
Snacked on a bit of pineapple and gave myself a sore mouth, why on earth does pineapple do that?
Dinner was EL mince with mushrooms & onions, new potatoes, roasted courgettes & leeks & 1.5 syns of gravy.
Pudding was some fat free fromage frais mixed with hot choc for 2 syns, a complete chocolate fix.

I have also drank my 7 glasses of water (and cannot stop peeing).
I've had my 7 syns
& my 7 speed foods. Huzzah.

Successful day down. I have literally laid in my bed all day, it has been so relaxing just what I need before another mad week at work.

My exercise plan for the week is:
Monday - Work then gym.
Tuesday - Work then swimming.
Wednesday - Work then rest.
Thursday - Day off and gym.
Friday - Work then rest.
Saturday - Day off and legs, bums & tums.

Got to keep at this gym lark because I can deffo feel a difference today, infact I may try and find my measurements in a minute and see if they are any different.

Hello! Just popping in to subscribe, are you doing that 7-7-7 thing with all the speedfoods? x

Hello Nic :)

Yes I am trying to follow it, day 2 and I've not done too badly I think.
I feel bloated tonight though, maybe I've eaten too much! Although I don't feel full, just blergh.

I've just read back through my diary to give me some kind of inspiration, I realised looking through back in January I ate a lot more food in the evenings than I do now and I wonder if this is contributing to my slow weight loss (bar the week I lost 6lbs), the last two weeks I've lost nothing so I wonder if uping my intake of food will help at all, especially since I've been going to the gym.

I found my measurements and 2 months ago I was 3 inches bigger round the waist so actually I'm now not too bothered about the gym and slowing my losses, although my arms are only a tiny bit smaller which bothers me a little as I hate them.

Anyways here is the measurements for you all...

Amazing inch loss. Well done xx

Today has been eventful :)

3 people commented on how slim I look (woo) and I fitted into an old hoodie that didn't fit before (woo x2). That's 2 NSV for me :D

Work was fairly busy but I've stuck to my 777!

Food (EE day).
B - 35g porridge (HEb), 200mls milk (HEa), cherries (s). The other 50mls milk in 2 small coffees.

L - pot of low fat cottage cheese, lettuce (s), peppers (s), cucumber (s), fat free yoghurt.

T - Moroccan veg & couscous from the SW mag. 'twas delicious. In the veg was onions (s), mushrooms (s), peppers (s), carrots (s), tomatoes (s).

image-1191882433.jpg

Snack - pineapple.

I made enough of the couscous & veggies for tomorrow's lunch. Winner.

No syns today but that's fine as I'm stuffed.
7 glasses of water (2litres) drunk :)

After work I went to the gym and burnt off 425 calories, whoop whoop. That was 30 mins bike, 10 mins run & 10 mins rowing.

Wow what a good day!! I love that bit where you fit back into old clothes, it's such a great feeling, well done! :D I wore a bodycon dress to work today and felt fab, am so glad I've kept at this now (although was slightly mortified when I realised that the split up the back of the skirt went right the way up to my bum!! not quite work appropriate!! ooooops!) x
