I just choose a WI day of Sat and fast Monday - Friday on what ever day :)

following primal blueprint and experimenting with the 5:2 fasting diet
 
No I'm not doing thats not what's recommended and seeing the fluctuations I had this week seems counter productive - for me that is!

So I'm just gonna wi towards the end of the week post second fast!

That's seems more manageable! X (or so it seems ;) )
 
I hate the fact I can't stop daily weighing :(

I still weigh daily and can see a trend happening - yes your up on the up days but after the fast you loose most of it plus a bit more .. As long as no WDPR ;)

As you all know I swear by prunes ! Have them most up days and sometimes 1 or 2 on a fast day lol

Have to say that so far it's not worked like that for me. The first fast I stayed the same. Then put weight on. Then I lost exactly what I'd put on on the up days. So far I'm just fluctuating between the same two weights :(

The trouble is its hard to notice the overall trend when we've only been doing it for a short while!

We're all still getting out heads round the plan! And lex you lost almost a stone! Last week!

I think I'm gonna give it a bit longer. For one I feel like I can do it again! X
 
Well I have discovered the iPad!

And in doing so have discovered the non app version of mfp! Which I guess is similar to mins but more specifically focused on cc and exercise!

It's quite interesting!
(And fun lol)

Well I managed to haul my arse to the gym! Wahoo go me for Easter Sunday!

I'm gonna stick with the 5:2 for another few weeks - I've only had one official wi with it and I need to see if it'll work bc it does fit my lifestyle a lot more!

But I've decided even if t just produces inch loss (which so far has been promising) I'd also be very happy!

So here's to another week two more fasts and then wi! Xx

Yeah my phone is usually glued to my palm!


Well on my feast days I've not been eating terribly just perhaps having more than I would normally so like tonight I'm having fajita - normally I'd wrap the chicken an veg in lettuce whereas tonight ill have two flour tortillas and the rest in lettuce.

Or I'd drink juice! Or smoothies! That normally I wouldn't waste cals on!

But mainly bread - bread is what I waste my calories on! Nice crusty white baguette mmmmmmm

So the fat content isn't higher than my usual. So I'm just hoping that'll help rein in my feast days and also give me an added helping hand.

That make sense?!

Well I ordered myself a fitbit zip yesterday ofc the pink one!!

Lol! I'd like to know my usual daily activity I think it'll be good for getting my arse moving!!

Plus would be interesting to see what my steps are work are like - I'm already aware it'll be higher on the wards than the delivery suit! But still will hopefully be a good motivator!

I've decided this week to really focus on eating clean on my non fast days! As in increasing my veggies and fruit and use my calories a bit wiser - perhaps a fruit salad and yoghurt for breakfast rather than cereal etc.

I'm attempting two fast days one after the other this week today! Wish me luck! And tomorrow if I fail tomorrow that's fine I'll just repeat on Friday!!

I love my fitbit, its a great gadget. Its great motivation as well - it tells you if you need to burn more calories for what you are eating!
 
I think your all gonna have to give me a tutorial lol!

I love my hrm so I'm sure ill love this too :) c

I did cave and eat some chocolate so have ended my day on 580 cals rather than the planned 500!

It could be worse but could have been much better!!

Well I'm ready to give it another go tomorrow and hope for a better wi thur after nooooooo wdpr!! Lol xx
 
80 calories over that's nothing Hun, you are not a failure x

Well done ! I must say I've not been able to stick to the 500 kcals .. But that's me all over again !

I did read in the alternative diet book - I think you said you bought that book? it still worked even if you were eating 35- 50% of your normal kcals rather than just the 500 kcals - but just not quite the same losses ! It said for long term IF that the levels had to be what you could "live" cope with ??

I'm fasting tomorrow too :) but am expecting a hard day I'm 2/3 days away from totm lol But made soup!
