managed to lose 2.5 lbs this week. :)

it's my birthday on sunday and we're going out with some mates on friday night for a curry. hoping to avoid a starter but may allow myself a poppadum and planning to have vegetable byriani for main....would be great if i could stick to just that, then i should be ok for syns if i shove a bit on my boyfriends plate too :)

then saturday my boyfriends taking me to a lovely italian restaurant that looks out on the beach. i'll probably have anti pasti of olives, artichoke, etc as a starter then spinach and ricotta canneloni or a salad for main. NO DESSERTS!!!!

will probably go out for lunch with the folks on my birthday - might go to the harvester or for a carvery (that'll keep dad happy!).

i've told my parents and boyfriend not to buy me a cake.

i'm hoping to be as good as possible within reason! wish me luck!!!
 
Well done on the loss, that's really good! You have a great plan in place for your celebrations so I'm sure you will have a good time and not do too much damage if any!
 
It is but I think thats more through lack of planning. I think when you know how you are going to celebrate you look forward to it and plan around it. When you do things more spur of the moment you run the risk of over-indulging
 
well went for the curry last night. i probably ate 3 poppadums with a little mango chutney, then shared vegetable biryani, sag aloo and sag paneer with a friend. it was blooming lovely. :)
 
Hey - fancy seeing you two here, Ive not been on here for months and months, but thought Id pop back as Ive re-started SW again! I lost 7lb last week and am hoping for another couple this week. good luck xxx

I put some weight back on too but not all that I originally lost. Like Karen though, working hard to get it off again

BREAKFAST: puffed wheat (hexb) with skimmed milk (hexa) and sweetener - yum :)

LUNCH: 2 x ryvita (hexb) and philidelphia light (3 syns)

DINNER: butternut squash, leek and potato patties, cabbage and mushy peas with brown sauce (1 syn)

SNACKS: 2 pears, an orange, 2 minimilks (3 syns) and french fries (4.5 syns)

SYNS: 11.5 syns
 
Tuesday 26.01.10 - Green

BREAKFAST: chopped melon and strawberries with sweetener

LUNCH: 2 x ryvita (hexb) with cheese (hexa), spring onion and extra light mayo (0.5 syns) and salad (lettuce, tomato, radish, pepper and dressing) plus a hi-fi bar (hexb)

DINNER: 2 egg omelette with cheese (hexa) and ketchup (1 syn)

SNACKS: an orange, skinny cow (4.5 syns) and french fries (4.5 syns)

SYNS: 10.5 syns

Did you have a nice birthday Karen? Im working hard to lose it too - lost 1/2lb this week, not bad seeing as its the time of the month and Ive not been feeling the bestest!

my birthday was good thanks. only downside to it was my boyfriend bought me a birthday cake. i had birthday cake for breakfast, lunch and after dinner!!! not very healthy i know, but back on plan as from yesterday.

i get weighed on thursday - hoping for at least a STS!
