No exercise today as my back was not too good this morning, and my knee (bashed the cartilage about a year ago when I fell over and sprained my ankle!) was also plyaing up a lot. Don't really know why they were, but they were! *Sigh.* Also felt generally 'meh' this afternoon - dizzy and sick, so went back to bed for about 3 hours.

Aw, sorry to hear about the knee/back problems, hope you enjoyed your wee nap though :) xx Food looks fab!

Funny, I made scrambled egg and beans for my Mum and Grandad for lunch too! Odd coincidence considering beans and egg together isn't usually something they'd normally ask for!

Soup sounds nice :)

Hope your knee/back etc are alright tomorrow!

Yes, the soup was very tasty and low in PP too - which is always a bonus. I love home made soups. Actually felt worse after the nap tbh! I think I had been asleep enough for my body to fell that I was 'into' my night's sleep, so when I got up after three hours it didn't like it! Feel OK again now thanks.

Knee and back seem ok now thanks. I get fed up with the knee because until I fell on it last year it was my 'good' knee! Now I think I'll probably always have problems with it, although when I'm exercising well and regularly it improves - probably because the other muscles in my leg work harder and take the strain off it. Also it keeps the fluid around the cartilage and cushions it, so even more reasons to exercise!

Well done on the loss Hun xx

Thanks Nessa. You did beat me to the 15% as predicted. Well done!

Only bloody just love. Dont be hard on yourself you are doing amazing. xx

Just remembered I had a WW hot choc drink last night before bed, so need to knock another point off my weeklies - weeklies remaining = 19.

Hey hun hope you are having a lovely day xx

Had a really lazy day today (still in dressing gown!) So as it's sunny now and has been dull all day we're going to pop out to the coast and get a walk in. I need to get my knee moving as that definitely helps with the cartilage pain, although musn't overdo it! I think I must have twisted it somehow - had to walk right out to the end of the school playing fields and back on Friday in my 'work shoes' which aren't really ideal for walking in, so I think I might have done it then, as can't think of anything else. Put some tiger balm on it about two hours ago though and hardly a twinge since, so time to move it and get those joint fluids moving!

May have an ice-cream while there and then home to Minestrone/Scotch Broth Soup (a mix of yesterday's leftovers and a tin of Lidl's Scotch Broth!)

Hope the walk goes well MW.. careful that you don't overdo it and make matters worse.

Thanks Emm, yes the walk definitely helped. We just strolled for about 80 minutes. It's better when I can keep it moving. Seems odd really, because the sharp pains only come when I'm still -sitting or lying down. Once I'm using it and walking or keeping up the exercise then I don't get any pain from it as long as I'm sensible with the range of movement I put it through. You'd sort of expect it to be the other way round really wouldn't you? I've read that moving it keeps the fluid around the joint and cushions the cartilage, so that must be why. I also put Tiger Balm on it three times yesterday - wonderful stuff!

Enjoy your walk, yay for lazy days!

Tea sounds nice also :)

Walk was very good thanks - even managed 3 lots of 10 second jogs, in preparation for my foray into the world of C25K!

Don't know what the soup was like, as we grabbed chips and ice-cream. Honestly I am hopeless at the moment - although the plan was to be able to enjoy my weeklies at the week-end I suppose. I don't think I've quite got used to the idea yet - still feel really piggy come Sunday evening. Anyway, all my weeklies are gone, so it's strictly dailies for me this week. I know I can do it. :whip: We'll be having the soup tonight instead, so that's tonight's meal sorted anyway! Just going to update for yesterday's food, then hit the Wii Fit/Gym ball/Just Dance.
