My Countdown - 20 Weeks to go!

Ooh reddy looking is good! Mine is red
Lol. I like a nice rich brown with red tints, so you get a really rich auburn colour.

I'm still in bed too but now getting up, weather is too nice for a change to stay in bed.

Urgh it's grim and grey here :( If they could manage to get the red right, I wouldn't mind so much but generally when the sun catches it I get this red (orangey) halo, not good, anyway gonna be a bit more assertive today! I want a bitter chocolate colour!! If I don't get I'm changing hairdressers lol. Every time I go I have this carry on. It's why I had blond highlights for years, it was easier than trying to get my own way lol.

We shall see!!!!

He he here's a selection of my always changing hair colours

Bad (&fat), bad, good, highlights (&fat)!!
The good one is all me, before the grey started really taking hold :(

You tell them what you want and tell them before you walk out that the colour isn't right! If it isn't get them to do it right. I was in the hairdressers for 3 hrs Tuesday. It was better when I left but wasn't the same colour so I got booked back in for Tuesday but I quite like the colour so I'm keeping it.

My colour along with scabs.

great things said:
My colour along with scabs.

I love that colour Nikki!! Where do you get yours done? I go to Saks in Guisborough but starting to feel like I'm paying a bomb for a pants job. It's partly why I changed back to my natural colour, every time I came away I found a bit of colour had bled or there was a patch that had been missed. It's not the hairdressers fault it's the colourist, I'm going to see if my hairdresser will do it today, I don't know why the colourist gets involved! Mind that's all she does all day you'd think she'd get it right!!!!

I'll post a pic later of the result.....

I go to my local lady. Been with her for years now. She's very reasonable and if it is not right or you are not happy they'll do it until you are. Low grange avenue. Fusion. Helen's her name. She has a facebook page.

I love this colour. Perfect. The only thing is that when you have a bleach then toner it hurts and your scalp can blister. This happens to me. It flaming hurts like hell!

Right here it is!! The colour is right yay!! Not sure about the fringe thing, might have to reconsider that, it's a bit Martine McCutcheon for my liking......

Sorry Kerry for hijacking your diary with my hair issues.

No worries! Ooh, I like! I'm liking the fringe as well, I've got me a side fringe.

That first pic of you doesn't even resemble you now. What is the difference in weight between then and now?

Between then and now is only about 3st!! I'm probably almost at my biggest there so about 17st 8lbs maybe a bit more cos it's Christmas time. And there's almost 6st difference between that phone and the one with the black background, that's me at target! God I want to get back there so badly!!!!

Got a new diary in maintenance section. Thought I should go there for help. I need to graduate I think. Might chance my headmind.

Where've you been all day Hun?

I've been reading, just not posting. No gym today, feel bad. Went to my dads for a belated step mums birthday dinner. Ate lots, but not as much I usually would of and then declined biscuits and cake this evening. Out of guilt more than sensible options.

I don't know where to move my diary to, can't find anything for plain old calorie counting and exercise?!

Up another couple of lbs this weekend, but I'm not too worried. Have eaten a lot of junk this weekend, but a few sessions in the gym and healthy lunches will get the metabolism pumping again. Fridge is stocked with salad, cous cous, cottage cheese and chicken. The novelty of junk is wearing off and I am finding myself enjoying good food and the variety.

Hoping this week will see me back in the 16's and when I get there I will be proud that I did it the hard way. Not that I am taking anything away from anyone on cd, cd is mega hard. Maybe I should re phrase that to the energetic way! Lol

Well done Kerry it's good to see you sounding positive again. I think you're right, you're doing it the hard way (for me anyway - CD is way easier than healthy eating is).

Hope you're feeling better soon Hun. And those 16's are right around the corner!! Xxx

Hopefully still on track to get back in the 16's before I start the new job a week tomorrow.

Might do an official weigh in tomorrow as not done one for a few weeks, but am kind of liking not being accountable at the minute. But also know that means not accountable for the scales moving the wrong way. As your beck book says, standing on the scales is essential!

Hi kez, just been catching up in your diary! Sounds like you have a clear idea of healthy eating and how your going to drop those lbs! I need to join the gym and get moving again too!! Xx

Thanks nikki, it doesn't seem much like the friendly support network that I'm in at the moment. More just questions and queries, but can't stay on the cd board forever if that's not what I am doing.
