Meli that's horrendous - our hospitals will give you info if you are NOK which you are. Using the boards to distract you is a top idea, how long has OH been at hospital now?
it's friday night A&E is the slowest place to be, take comfort that he is in the right place at the right time, best they check him over properly.
I am siting here watching ace of cakes, they have just made an alice in wonderland cake it is so beautiful - i'd never cut into it
I am turning 40 next year and my husband's niece just told me she didn't realise how old I am lol! Her mum's only a year younger than me
no i think minors means things that can be sorted by triage nurse (cuts, sprains etc) and majors requires doctor sign off - shame none of our nurses are online tonight - they could ease your mind a bit
Morning Meli - i am not going to be around much today so a quick message to say hope OH is ok and you managed to get some rest last night, will be thinking of you, ((big hugs)) donna x
Thanks Donna...really appreciate your comments and good thoughts.
Well I went last night to A & E and he was on a drip and didn't want to tell me anything, but I made him and seems like the blood tests came out abnormal, urine as well and they are doing an ultrasound this morning. They think it can be a number of things, jaundice, hepatitis or liver infection, but the specialist needs to see him first. He could not get a bed until 6am when they moved him up on the ward (it's a good thing I came back with the kids and bil at 2am) and he is in a high intensity ward. Only went to hospital this morning to drop off some clothes for him, some breakfast and pillows (yes, they have no pillows, can you imagine???). Only have a 2 hour period 2 times in the day when I can see him, so hope to hear more later today.
