Good afternoon ladies
Hi - hope ur having a good day - bet you'll have a lot of those - now your wearing your Miss Slinky sash and crown!? x
Good afternoon ladies
Thanks for the link, will read on laptop later. Good luck with the willpower! Xx
Edit : Having read the link and done a bit more research, I think I'd want to check with the consultant as it appears it can be affected by anti-coagulant drugs, which is part of what I have to take daily. I'll mention it at my next appointment, though that isn't until after Christmas now. Thanks again though and glad it helps your hands. x
Don't panic, I doubt it would but just don't want to risk a flare. Most of the time it's fine with my regular meds, though my girls always make me triple check I've got them if we're going anywhere for a few days!
How's your day going? The baby is sleeping, her Mum is doing their ironing and I've been reading for a while. Was going to go for a walk but ran out of time as shopping delivery due in half an hour. Boring but I should go empty the dishwasher I guess, it won't empty itself unfortunately :/
My mum suffers with spongilitits in her neck and I see how much pain she is in so understand it must be painful for you, hope they get to the bottom of it for you xx
How about this then. Lost 3lbs!!
Thanks. In actual fact I am really lucky I very rarely get much bad pain these days. I sure the doc will see it on the MRI.
Good afternoon ladies Just doing a quick round of diaries xx
How about this then. Lost 3lbs!!
I see some of you have mentioned my hospital appointment with the neurologist. Firstly he says that what my sister has (Neuromyotonia) is not genetic. The condition is muscles moving/twitching. I have it in my legs but my sister now has it all over her body and is tired all the time. Her specialist says her muscles will seize in time unless she takes epilepsy pills. (another story) My legs are worse when I have been walking.
He has done blood tests, and I am to have an MRI scan. He says it is sometimes due to a back problem. I forgot to tell him I have spondilocis in my neck, but I will be seeing him again.
He poked me with a pin up and down my legs and my feet. One toe is a bit numb from diabetes. When he run a stick up and down my feet I nearly kicked him. Don`t like bottom of feet being touched. Anyway he says as I have been diabetic for 10 years that is a very good sign of good control, even if I do have the odd lapse.
I am not worried at all. If the MRI shows up anything when I have it I will worry then.
Have a good day all. Weigh in results later.
