Plan for 2moro - can't face going to class - know I should go really!

B: omelette, bacon and brown sauce 1 syn, melon
L: veg soup
D: chicken wrapped in bacon with speed veg, SF jelly, skyr
Snacks: melon, soup
Drinks: fruit teas, water, perhaps a couple of coffees

Exercise
 
Right today will be on plan (I hope!) some friends who are staying locally are coming to see us today - I could cook them chicken wrapped in bacon if they stay till tea time unless we end up going out.

Feeling a bit flat about the diet - need to shake that off.. Will do some exercise this morning and have an on plan day.

I had a bath this morning and when I emptied it - some of the water leaked through the kitchen ceiling - this bathroom is a pain - Phil think he knows where the problem is - so he'll try to fix it today.

Hope your days are going better than mine!

With your bathroom being upside down over the last couple of weeks I'm not surprised your feeling flat about this diet malarkey.

Thankfully my building work was outside so it didn't get in my way too much. But now their rubbish is still here and it's started to bug me. I've been out moving the wheelbarrows etc into the corner space as I'm fed up with seeing it all up by the house.:classic_mad:
 
Thanks Mary - I felt brighter as the day went on - Phil's doing well with the bathroom - he's corrected most of the bodge jobs - a big difference in the almost 2 weeks he's been working on it - much neater plus the bath's in :)

The skip's still on the drive - as is the old bath - cos there isn't enough room for it in the skip the builders ordered! We've had a bill from them - they've included things that they've either not done or bodged - so we've adjusted it and won't be paying the bill until the skip/bath have gone grrrr.... plus they've not provided us with an electrical/gas certificate - which we've found out online are legal requirements - so we'l be asking for those too.

It took us ages to calculate a fair payment - based on the builders' original quote. Can't wait to settle the bill and put all this behind us! We know that there's a chance that they'll take us to small claims court - that'd be a pain but so be it - we have taken photos of the shoddy work and other photos of the work Phil's corrected.

I think the photo of the electrical installation they fitted under the shower tray speaks for itself, the appalling 'wonky'coving and rubble we found behind a wall which was protruding!!

Yesterday some friends called round and we ended up having a meal in the pub - a 'legal' lean lamb and veg dinner and an naughty choc brownie & ice cream, 1 amaretto/diet coke plus a legal snack at home.

Need to get back onto the plan in the morning. xx

Glad your building work went miles better than ours - wouldn't wish them on anyone - think our builders wd have made a mess anywhere in or outside!
 
Plan for 2moro - we're off to Chester - taking Poppy and her friend to 'Flipout' apparently it's a trampoliner's paradise!!

Frozen berries with Muller using 5 scan bran too.heb
1/2 can cider 4.1/2 syns
A tin of food beans
Milk for coffee hea. rarely have all my milk.
Total 6 syns


Monday

B. 2 bananas.

L. Salad lettuce toms etc and sweet corn boiled spud.. 2 sl. Corned beef 2syns. 2 boiled eggs. Dressing 1 syn.

D. Chicken thighs. Runner beans Gravy 2 syns. Cider 4.1/2 syns.

Small pot Quark.
1/2 bag berries and Muller with scan bran heb
Total syns 9.1/2


Tuesday

B. Bacon mushrooms toms 3 eggs

L. Lots small toms with 10g parmesan 1 syn mayo 2 syns. Dry stuffing & 3tsp gravy grans 3 syns

D. 2 pork chops. With lots peppers

2mullers with scan bran heb
1/2 can cider 4.1/2 syns

total 10 .1/2

Wednesday.

B. Bacon mushrooms toms 2 eggs

L. Plums grapes pears.

D. Scan bran cake heb 1 egg. Canderel 1syn 2 satsumas

Only 1syn today.

I think I am up to date now.
 
Thank you so much for taking the time to post that Doreen - I appreciate that - the way you write it sounds as if you find it easy but I expect it's tough at least some of the time??? I really am going to try to copy you and kick this stupid WI day bingeing - I'm just making it hard for myself :(

You do well to control yourself esp at the cafe with all those goodies! Sitting outside wdn't stop me!

So you are human then - or perhaps you were just copying mye when your had your bucket of chips eh?????

Seriously tho - I'll use you a my role model and mentor - I'm determined to sort this out - I think I'll plan some nice on plan food.

Meals shdn't be a problem but I will need something sweet & treats - need to think about that - maybe a meringue with a nice low fat thick greek yogurt and fruit, SW chips with HEA melted cheese wd feel like a treat - I'll look thro some recipes too.

I like those mini marshmallows on a cocktail stick with chopped fruit too - might make some SW cheese scones with cottage cheese with chives with a tiny bit of mustard in the mixture and put a tiny bit of grated cheese on top as soon as they come out of the oven - know that's a tweak but it's better than my usual stuff and Phil likes them so I won't eat them all!

Low cal drinking choc with a few marshmallows too (I'll have to ask Phil to hide the rest of the marshmallows tho or you know what'll happen to them :O )

I like the SW scotch eggs too! Which are your favourite low syn sausages Doreen?

SF jelly and ff yog - some of the people in class say the SW ready meals are good and it's great that they're free of syns - but I'm not that keen but there is one I like but can't remember - need to think or go to Iceland & check it out.

The girls in class say the fish cake with a sauce is lovely too.

Could do a SW sausage casserole - not keen on SW sausages grilled but like them in a casserole - could do some Frylighted roasties or even use a bit of oil.

Not saying I'll eat all this in one day but even if I did it'd be better than my 'normal abnormal WI day' !! Need to look on here for more ideas and think more about what food I like that seems like a treat - ooh I'm on a mission now! Thank you for reading if you've got the stamina to get this far Hee Hee! x

Sausages I have are Tesco H E Cumberland. 1 syn. I am trying to have 2 in future not 4.
SW meals - I never fancy them. Some say lovely some not. £3 is. Bit steep for me. Not heard of fish cake/sauce. Sound good. SW chips may go. With that one.
I cannot remember how to do the scones, could you remind me please xx I have made half portion in the past. They are rather nice. Syns?
Weigh day. I am lucky really as at the café I am used to not having. Only Friday if I have lost. Mind you the waitress will query me anyway. I have asked them to.
Definately copying you with a bucket of chips. Usually when I talk to the children the offer me one. Yes of course I have one. I did today!!
I feel I could buy only one meringue I would. As for those little marshmallow mmmmm
Sometimes, when on offer, I buy Hartley low cal pots.

I know you try hard but the order of the day is go to weigh in on Tuesday. Face the music again .... Just like me.....and keep trying.

That's good Hun have u anything ur guilty guilty about this week I have so many packs of crisps and cheeses on toast today angry at myself lol x

Yes lots of unhealthy high calorie food this week but yesterday was v good and I didn't binge today - somehow I feel more in control - let's hope it lasts! I'll pop over to see how you've done in a minute. x

Thanks for asking - but you might be sorry you did with this long answer!

We took our granddaughter and her friend to a trampoline park today - no bingeing and not a bad day's food - I feel better cos of that - feel I can get back on plan in the morning.

The builder rang first thing asking when we were going to pay for the work - Phil told him that he's partly drafted out a detailed letter in response to their bill - pointing out the problems (it's taken ages to write so far) supported with before & after photos of the builders' & Phil's 90 hours of corrective work so far with lots more to do.

Phil told him what we think is a fair price for the work done and we'll will post the letter 2moro. He also said we wants the statutory gas and electrical certificates for the work and the skip and bath (no room for it in the skip!) removed from the drive - then we'll send them a cheque.

Phil thinks that the bathroom malarkey's not helping my dieting - would you believe that this morning when he pulled a newly placed but wonky sheet of plasterboard off the wall - he found the problem was that the builders didn't get rid of all the old tiles they'd removed but they'd left some of them behind the new plasterboard!

So more aggro wondering what's going to happen next!
