Just made some of that tomato soup with beans & tin toms. I put some sweetner in it & pepper too. Some fresh basil would be nice tho. I bit grainy. I definately prefer the BNS carrot soup.

I keep meaning to try that! Did you put tinned carrots in too? It's supposed to taste exactly like heinz tomato.

Did make some once before and threw it away. I don`t think it tastes exactly like heinz tomato. It is a bit grainy - that is how I have heard it described before and it is correct. I will have some later today and see what it tastes like after keeping overnight. I would think some fresh basil might help the taste. I will probably put a little worcester sauce if I think it needs it.

Will let you know later.

The only thing is because it has baked beans in it can`t really use on a red day. Only one tin beans so could probably syn it eh?

Yeah, let me know. I don't fancy a grainy texture. Are beans many syns? I've never done red.

16 syns a tin. Wow, definately EE today, don`t want to count 4 syns for soup. I think I would rather make BNS/carrot soup or carrot & coriander which I have notmade for sometime.

Just had some of the tomato soup. I put some worcester sauce in it then when in the soup bowl put some natural yogurt in it. Not bad, still a little grainy but filling. And yes I didput a tin of carrots in it.

Will make again as it is really easy, just opening tins, heating and then a blitz. Bit more work and time to the BNS, but prefer it.

The wind here this morning and overnight extremely strong. My neighbour has had parts of his fence blown down back and front. No trees down here that I can see. Heard some very weired noises in the night as the wind blew around the house.

Oh no! Whereabouts are you? Here near Chester, we have practically no wind at all, it's wet though x

I am in Hertfordshire just north of M25. They did say on the forecast that the south east would get the worst of the weather. Even tho I come under SE I am near the top, so goodness knows what it is like further down country.

I've just been watching it on the news.... It looks awful in places.... As long as it stays dry for my dog walk in a minute! Haha! X

Hi Doreen, I'm pleased to hear that you survived the storm with no damage, I was thinking about you last night. We had lots of rain, but hardly any wind thank goodness. I don't like wind, it quite scares me :(
It looks terrible down south.

Thanjs Mandy, It was supposed to be passed by lunchtime, but it is now raining realy hard and the wind has picked up again. The worst thing is I have no TV SKY signal apparently because of the bad weather.

Am going to Haverhill in the morning leaving 5.45 to be there by 7am. Could go this pm but weather too bad really to go on motorway. Won`t be back until Saturday. Could get weighed up their Wed am, naaa, Friday am 1/2hr away, naaaaaa, so it will be leave there at 9am Sat to get weighed 10am.

Hoping my son gets his computed sorted for me to use so I can keep in touch.

Have a good week Mandy,
Doreen x

Hey, no damage except the sky dish ain`t working. What a blooming nuisance. I have watched a DVD today thinking I can get a neighbour to let engineer into the garden to fix it, noooo they can`t come until next Monday 4th November!!!That means that none of my recordings will happen. Arrrgh. Sky - must enquire about Virgin, they don`t have roof top aeriels. Thank goodness I am away till Saturday. Got a little tv upstairs but it don`t have all the channels and don`t record anyway.
Well, I never had tv till I was 9 - dad got it for the coronation - back to my childhood :)
