How annoying! It's quite sad how much we rely on the tv these days, I'd be lost without sky. I know it's each to their own, but we tried virgin and went back to sky.

Well I am back. No computer use while I was away and no proper diet either. Will get weighed Sat morning and see how it has gone.

A one hour journey took me 2.1/2 hrs today as there was a lorry overturned on the motorway, what a bummer. The kids were a bit fed up but were very good. Faye was meeting a little friend and her mum for a meal, so good job I had given us plenty of time to get down here.

Am absolutely knackered, have no TV, am hungry, thirsty, peed off etc etc. & myDIL drove me mad. She is tired too but nontheless!!!!!

Moan over, nice to be home, will sit and watch some DVD`s and eat banana & yogurt drink coffee then have an early night.

Morning all. Thank you Mandy. Don`t feel very chilled, but my sugars are high. Stress does not help with that. I may need a change of anti-depressents. Anyway I put on 1lb. The scales at the class I go to on Sat are the same as mine. The one I go to on Fri always makes me a pound lighter. It could have been a lot worse, I did eat quite a lot of birthday cake. Etc etc. It is difficult when I am away with the kids. Lots of reasons.

Saturday 2nd November EE

hexa 350ml milk
hexb 2 wm bread.

B: 3 rashers very lean bacon, tomato, 2 eggs, 3 bread (2.1/2 syns)


Have made some orange jelly to go with mandarin mullers.
Cooked some rice to go with some frozen berries.

S: 1/2 pot mandarin muller. little orange jelly (1.1/2 for the whole jelly)

L: Corned beef sarni with a little pickle and tomato. (7syns)
Little more Jelly & yog. Coffee

D: Minced beef, onion, carrot, green pepper & oxo cubes.
with Brocolli & cabbage & 300g boiled spud.
Grapes & pear

Supper: rice, frozen berries & Mullerlight

No children, their Mum picked them up yesterday afternoon. They only came down so Faye could go out to lunch with her friend. I just had Flynn with me, he is such a cutie he really is great to be with.

I am feeling much better now, head bit fuzzy but a good nights sleep will help.

As you say, 1lb for birthday week not bad. I reckon I ate half of that chocolate cake over 3 days it was lovely and biscuits too. I think getting up and down playing etc and takinh dog for a walk stopped it being any worse. I am back on it today, should be ok for a couple of weeks. I nearly didn`t go and get weighed, but am glad I did.

I don`t know about that. I reckon if I had known I was going to put on I wouldn`t have gone. Glad I did tho
 
Feeling much better today. Didn`t miss the TV too much. Have been watching a great film called Band of Brothers with Damien Lewis. Still no TV today, but housework this morning, out this afternoon visiting then probably West Wing DVD later.

Sunday 3rd November

L: Tin spaghetti bolognese (3 syns)
Small portion rice & berries. Small jelly with berries (1/2 syn)
and vanilla mullerlite.

Making BNS & carrot soup.

D: 2 chicken thighs with piri piri flakes, mashed spud & brocolli.
serve with dijon mustard & mayo sauce - (1syn)
Jelly with berries and mullerlite (1syn)

Couple of apples & a banana during the evening. & mullerlite

Didn`t reckon much to the mustard & mayo, but leaving the syns cause I had some.

I am feeling so much better now, Stress & high sugars are not a good thing. Feeling back to normal thank goodness. ++++
Hurrah my Sky has been fixed. It turns out that the pole had not been tightened otherwise it should not have moved, nice guy tho, and all done. Have enjoyed the DVD`s over the weekend, and looking at programmes not a lot that I really want to watch anyway. No pleasing some people eh?

hexb - 2 sliced of wholemeal bread

B: 2 lean bacon, 2 eggs, & tomatoes - 2 slices bre

L: BNS soup with wholemeal roll ( 6 syns) 15g low low cheese in roll h/a. Banana, mullerlite banana & custard yogurt.

S: small piece of cake at over 50`s club (gonna say 7 syns)

D: BNS soup Pork chopped cooked on peppers and onion with roast sliced potatoes and sweet potatoes

I am fine thanks Mandy. Off to see a musical show this evening with one of the girls from SW, going to her house first for a SW dinner. Two of the girls in our class are in the show.

Thank you both.
Can`t remember what it is called. It is only an amatuer one in the local hall. All 50`s music. Don`t know anything other than that. Will let you know tomorrow. Am looking forward to going out for a change. :)


It was called Smokey Joe`s Cafe. The first half was not so good but the second half was really good. Some fantastic voices especially for amateurs. They do other things like plays. Probably would go again.

Had a lovely spag bol with a side of superfree with my friend and raspberries & yog.
Altogether a good evening. Would definately do it again

Here we are then, Friday morning ----- the dreaded weigh in :eek:
I do hope I haven`t put on, STS would be ok but would like to lose the 1lb I put on last week.

Tasting day today, don`t usually do anything but have cooked a pack of Light Choice sausages, have cut them into bite size pieces. Guess thy will be ok. Will let you know how I get on later.
