Good attitude Laura! Sounds like you had fun too! My evening was other way around, not so bad on booze but terrible on food. Good luck for a good week. Xx

Thanks it was good night at the time not feeling so wonderful now. I generally just have a wee rum or two in the house but not much more than that and now I remember why!! X

Sounds like a good night was had, and that is probably the main thing. Especially with having a bit of a crappy week with your sick pay ending and all. The food is remarkably restrained for being at a BBQ. We shall gloss over the tasty sounding alcohol shall we?! ;)

I am also now addicted to the tesco vanilla chai latte. To the extent that I don't think I have had a normal cup of tea since buying them! They do feel a bit more wintery though so perfect for the beginning of June in Britain then...

Have you got hangover foods planned for today? The lack of any HEAs is something I would definetly miss if I had a hangover.

I am also a vanilla chai addict and love skimmed milk being free as have a latte almost every day which feels naughty when it's not! Sweet spicy milky joy :-D

Really need to get back into green tea as well might start making it up and keeping in the fridge as my hot beverage consumption decreases rapidly in summer. Love strawberry or blueberry green tea yum yum.

Feel marginally better after some brunch and think something tasty but easy to make will be required for dinner - perhaps potato wedges and wrap pizza will sort me out? X

Mmmmm potato wedges and wrap pizza sounds very good. That would sort me out nicely!

Nearly ready can't wait! Need a massive munch to get rid of the rest of this hangover so having 2 wrap pizzas plus made lots of chips :-D

Ok so I only managed one pizza plus chips will snack on other one later to avoid eating all the Doritos, galaxy and cornettos! X

Yeh bank holidays are totally for chilling out ;-) I've just started watching the secret circle after hearing lots if good things about it - bit cheesy but I'm loving it.

Foods pretty random lately as can't really afford to buy anything so trying to use up whatever food is around. Might need to buy couple basics but other than that it's all good will make a big batch of soup later to do lunches this week and hopefully get news about benefits later in the week :-/ x

Hope all will be ok when you hear back from the benefits folk.Yea sometimes what's in the cupboard/freezer just had to do.Yup bank hols are a chill out must! Nice we get a extra one tomorrow aswell :0)

Not heard of the secret circle,I like cheesy sometimes!

Really enjoying it so far it's a teen drama thing about a group of witches. Based on the books by the author who also wrote the vampire diaries.

I am a bit of a sucker for anything vampire/supernatural related so might be biased :p x

I am also a sucker for supernatural/ sci-fi stuff. I have watched bits and pieces of the vampire diaries but not seen any series of it all the way through. I really liked the first few series of true blood but it all got a bit crap in the end. But it did still have Eric going for it so obviously I still watched it ;) Haven't heard of Secret Circle, might have to look it out although I already watch SO much tv I probably shouldn't...

It seems like you are making good work of using up whats in the cupboards. ESA can take a fair while to come through sometimes, just to warn you, but if you have stopped receving sick pay (i.e. your last payment received was received 5 weeks ago and was to cover 4 weeks off work) and have no other income you should be entitled to a "crisis loan". Its usually paid at about 70% of your applicable benefit rate and then recouped gradually once your proper benefit is in payment. You may already know this but thought I would mention it just in case.

How r u liking sf now? How much have u lost in the 3wks? Is it more or less than sw?

Thanks for the info- well I get paid weekly and it's for the previous week and last pay I got was not Thursday there but the previous one (as they so kindly took almost a week to tell me I wouldn't be getting any more!) so hopefully be able to get something. My OH and family will make sure I have enough to cover bills and basic food so just got to not spend anything other than total essentials. I do totally stockpile dried goods so should just need some perishable items really. X

Couldn't find it on my bt vision but it might be added at a later date!

Ah that's a shame - I am watching it online but it's a bit of a pain with broken links and annoying pop ups and such. I tend to watch everything on Netflix so it spoils me with all it's on demand goodness! X

Well so far since I came back on it lost 4lbs in 2 weeks (I think?) which is fab but I did have a gain from a blowout just before I came back do really only lost 0.5lb of "new" weight loss. Sw was working for me to when I stuck to it as well, albeit slowly. I did definitely eat more on it though and do like that on sf I can't have convenience food but do miss the huge selection of free foods on sw especially things like veggie burgers/sausages as I ate them quite often. It's good to know that both plans work and both have their pros/cons. X

Sounds like you would definitely be entitled to a crisis loan in that case. Its a much more immediate benefit - you phone up the social fund and request a crisis loan for essential living expenses and it gets agreed while you are on the phone. You then just have to get down to the local benefit office to collect the giro at a pre-agreed time that day. I only have the numbers for England but I am sure a quick google would find you in the number you need. A word of advice though would be to phone as early as possible (they open at about 8:30am) as they lines do get pretty busy later in the day.
