New to simply filling- any help appreciated

Looks like your doing really well! And egg bagels are yum so not a bad thing to be stuck with!

Did work get their toaster back yet? Ours got took off us last week too as it faile the pat?? Electricity test. They said it was a fire hazard!
 
Cosmos and a "modern sex on the beach" were the ones at £1.99 or nearly £6 for the others so we stuck to them ;-)

Was fruity yumminess it was vodka, peach schnapps, Chambord, orange juice, pineapple juice and cranberry juice.

Magic Mike was alright had heard quite a few people say it was awesome so was a little disappointed. Some very pretty half naked males gyrating at you so not all bad though the plot was a bit thin and predictable would have been much better if it wasn't trying to be so serious. X
 
Cocktails sound yummy. And a bargain at 1.99. It would have been rude not to have 6 ;) I reckon you are better off just thinking about how many weeklies you think is realistic for the rest of the week and going from there rather than trying to point what you had. Cocktails seems pretty much impossible to point, so maybe they are free... There is logic there somewhere...
 
I agree. When I have crazy crazy days when pointing is just too hard. I have started taking it as a day off. Then having the rest of the week as daily points + 3/4 extra per day for weeklies! Which I don't need to do anymore now I'm maintaining but that's what I did do. As I knew I couldn't last days with only 29pp per day
 
Yeh I know that if I try to do the rest of the week on no weeklies I would just end up wanting to eat even more! I like the idea of cocktails being free ;-) I know that alcohol and fruit juice is still calories but I never feel as bad about drink as I do with food and it doesn't tend to give me big gains either though the drunken or hungover food certainly can!! ;-)

Having my first proper night out on Friday so really looking forward to that!! It's been over 9months I reckon as before I broke my ankle I had been staying in for a while to save for Christmas and then havnt been up to it either due to ankle pain/finances/both! Have had some drinks at pubs or house or mates houses but not been out dancing at a rock club in soooo long. X

Tuesday

Brunch- weetabix (tweak) with skimmed milk

Snacks- fruit salad (melon, watermelon, grapes, pomegranate) really enjoyed this after my several months of limited fruit!!
Cereal bar 2pp
Fruit nuggets

Dinner- wholemeal pasta, roasted cherry tomatoes, pesto (garlic, salt, basil and oil allowance) there would have been pine nuts too but I couldn't find them :-/

Was really hungry so ended up eating half of the pasta then going back for the rest half hour later (it was supposed to be lunch for tomorrow lol!) so had 200g of pasta!! Hadn't really ate much else today as was off work so had really lazy day.

Weeklies used- 3pp
 
I'm giving up pointing alcohol as it doesn't seem to affect my losses apart from as you say the hangover food! I don't drink anywhere near as much as I did 3 years ago and given I used to binge drink alcopops and god knows what else at least once a week and now I often drink little more than a couple bottle of beer a week, when I'm not socially busy, and it hasn't affected my weight at all (I actually put weight on for a while but blaming moving in with the boy and a holiday for that) I just don't think it's worth me counting alcohol as long as I'm not going crazy. So personally I think alcohol should be free as long as you aren't drinking heavily every night or week.

Glad you had fun even though film wasn't too great!
 
Oh your cocktails sound lovely, im friends with a girl whose lost over 3stone on sw and she never counts her alcohol and she drinks quite alot including allsorts of fruity cocktail lovelyness!
 
Excited on your behalf for proper night out on friday! Are you new boots getting an outing or is that too early for your ankle? I feel quite overdue for a proper night out having a boogie with good music so we might be going out on saturday evening to rock city. That will probably be an alcohol free night but it is really interesting how alcohol doesn't seem to affect most people's losses much.

Looking at yesterday's food it all seems to even out over the course of the day so I shouldn't worry about the second portion of pasta.
 
I do not require much persuasion to bend the rules! ;-) there will be a fair amount of booze consumed on Friday night so I might experiment and count my points for food but not for booze and see what happens!! :)

Really looking forward to friday it's been way too long. Also looks like buying a house may be on the agenda later in the year (around November if all goes to plan eek!) so trying to stock up on little bits and pieces for the house. Got some things today in primark all half price and reserved some things to pick up from Argos tomorrow.

(was really too late for a big lunch by the time I got home from work/shopping as was having big dinner)

D- this was amazing!!
Homemade chips MASSIVE CHUNKY ONES they were the best chips I've ever made I reckon :) then had leftover chickpea Dahl from the weekend that I had frozen so just binged that in microwave and poured on top. Yum! Counting that as free using oil allowance it isn't overly greasy.

Snacks- yoghurt
Grapes

Drinks- water
Squash
Peach and cherry blossom green tea (I love having new tea!)

Weeklies used- 2pp

Just about to head into town to exchange some shorts for wearing tomorrow, noticed when I got them home they had a weird mark on the ass :-( also picking up couple bits of housey stuff yay! Not working until 1pm today so might as well have a kinda productive morning instead of staying in bed watching Spongebob like I normally do if I'm starting later in the day lol! X
 
Oh and sneaky weigh in this morning (will be leaving house at 6ish tomorrow so will miss 9am weigh in) was showing a loss :-D exciting!

Tomorrow will probably do a weigh in at 6am before I leave then one when I get back at 1pm and take an average, but today was showing 9st 5lb :-D x

I had to laugh at your pasta portion, we all do it. I'm naughty with pasta so I just step away from extras now because I'm like a bottomless pasta pit.

I have seen the peach and cherry blossom tea while shopping and thought it sounded nice, might have to try it. I got a really nice cherry and cinnamon one from Morrisons a few weeks ago. Am thinking it will be especially lovely in winter when you want to be all cosy and snuggly. Cinnamon has that sort of association for me.

Very much liking the sound of the chunky chips and chickpea dahl. Very tasty sounding. Didn't seem to be much else eaten though, were you just not that hungry?

Great news about the potential loss. Will keep fingers crossed for tomorrow.
