Nikki in ??? IT STOPS NOW!

Hi Nikki,

I need to book myself into some Zumba classes. I am going to try to book into the aquafit tonight. Back to planned fitness -- April is over and I need to get back on track.

Your food choices look good -- are you feeling any better?

to be honest mel. not hungry but i've put on a pound since doing low carb so it looks like i need to do ss+ from thur to sunday then 810 for the rest of that other week before i go away in order to get off as much as i can. very depessing and this makes me want to reach for carbs, which i've not done.

today i've not eaten as much just don't feel like it. might be nerves for tonight too.

i've had basically.... a cd bar and some brazil nuts (not salted or anything just the nuts in superfood form), 1 tin of dr pepper, 2 pints of water and several coffees.
 
Hi Nikki,

I still think you need to have your body fat checked. I think you have a much higher muscle to fat raito and that is why you "weigh more than you think you should". Call some gyms and see if they can give you some info on where you can have it done. I think it would be valuable information for you.

blerugh. zumba went brill :) i remembered it all. so happy, i know i can do a class. i can do it! :D

had some energy carbs before i left cause i felt i needed them as i felt so tired. so couple of bread down my gob and a tracker bar, energy food not hunger need, thought if i didn't eat something i'd probably go dizzy :) ss+ from tomorrow, so i'm having a glass of vino :eek: very naughty me.

not sure shanny. i might get asked tomorrow! you never know. i wouldn't mind either. it's all experience. had one glass and couldn't stand the thought of having another. i'm so tired. i've been craving an options hot choc all day, so i had one but they let me down as they're just so sweet. i had a mouthful of a frijj earlier, a fudge brownie one and it was so sweet it was nasty, i only had the one mouthful and that was totally enough yak!
 
I had a hot choc yesterday at work and it was too sweet, made me feel sick. I also managed to give myself the trots by drinking too much fruit juice over the weekend because I'd managed to convince myself I had scurvy lol. Still it gave me a good clear out lol, soz TMI. And I don't have scurvy either lol.
 
So u are having 4 shakes like me Nikki.. ?? I'm fit and I'm sure I will be fine doing this for atleast 2 weeks maximum ..

What's your plans ? X

Yep 4 shakes and milk. I drink that much coffee I need my milk and I don't measure it either cause I know I'll burn the small over excess with just walking let alone the exercise I do. Got core and Zumba tomorrow :)
 
P.S think I'll do it til Monday then move to the 810! Personally I believe that doing ss or ss+ longer than a week or two would harm you. I'm sure I'm fine cause where my bmi has popped up to over the past week! I got it down too I just can't believe how stupid I've been popping it up again. I need a grip, one around my thick skull and even thicker neck would be preferable! When will I learn?
 
A VERY WHINGY POST!

sick of today. ems has tried my patience again and wound me up tighter than a spring. don't know why i let her get to me. repeatedly wetting her pants again. tired. fed up. had cd bar x 2, porridge x 1, 1 more to go but i've had some cheese today :( did core and zumba as a saving grace. so probably 450 cals gone.

voted as well which i wasn't going to bother with as nothing in our area changes, ever. we have roads that need resurfacing from the previous years snow which was made worse the past winter gone. these roads haven't been resurfaced since i was 17! that's 20 years ago even then it was chippings that were put down over a layer of tarmac. we have one really bad patch in a well used road which if you drive into it actually pulls you off in a certain direction.... that's been there 2 possibly 3 years.

think i'm miffed off cause it's my first ss+ day, i was last time too. i shouldn't be cause the weekend is looming and my new zumba trousers and top came today and i love them so much i just want to put them on and go to a zumba class!

ems is a major giver of stress. she's not listening at all. her trampline is in a right state and nobody is that bit interested in sorting it out. i've closed it off and banned her from using it but she's on it right now. hubby's in his room playing computer games. i've been on the go most of the day. just didn't get a great nights sleep either. matthew was kicking off last night, hubby was snoring etc. need to go to bed early but i'll know that it will be met with annoyance by hubby.

for the last week we've not had a lollipop lady at ems school and today we got a letter from saying that during the school hols our lollipop lady, marion (probably in her 50s) had an accident and never recovered from it. she was a lovely lady and it was upsetting as i always spoke to her and said thank you. she loved little matthew and he always waved and said hiya!

can't do this diet. trying hard to do ss+ and i just can't stick well to it. keeping cals below 1000 and exercising but still putting on weight. been to docs bout my finger and says it's ligaments so could take 12 weeks to heal. being referred bout my throat. got tests on my body cause i'm stressing about my weight.

had wine and crisps last night cause i was stressed and pi$$ed off which of course is the opposite to what i should be doing. next week i'm trying something different.

I am thinking the same thing. The week starting the 15th -- I am going to start WW. I need to shake things up a bit.

hubs recons i'm not eating properly so that's why i'm getting sick with my throat all the time. he might have a point i used to have a more varied diet but have sort of closed it down and stick to the same things and eat in the same way etc. it makes me feel comfortable cause when i go off track on my own i end up not eating as i just don't know what to eat then i eat rubbish cause i'm hungry then i put on weight. focus is needed now. cc, healthy body and mind focus.
 
Sorry I've not been around! Maybe Paul is right, try mixing your diet up a bit. In Jillian Michaels book she suggests that if you're sticking to say 1200 cals, mix it up during the week, have 800 cals one day 1000 another then on another have more like 1500. So long as at the end of the week you haven't gone over the 8400 cals you'll lose. It works by not allowing the body to anticipate how many calories it'll be getting each day. It also gives you more flexibility on days where you feel like you need to eat more. It takes more planning but if your cal counting you'll have to be planning ahead anyway. Just a thought. Xx
