Thanks Jaffa...my sister in law did arrive so we went to the carvery. They were disappointed with their meal but my plate of veggies was alright. Then we had choc fudge cake for dessert...rather a large portion; probably to compensate for the mains and no charge for the desserts.

Scales saying 10.6 1/2 again...

Yes I saw that Tesco's had 25% off on clothes. I'm slowly amassing things towards presents now too.
I had no problem using the voucher....2 bx red grapes (save £1) bag clementines (buy 1 get 1 free) butternut squash, cauliflower, bag mixed peppers, bx flat mushrooms, pkt 4 avocados, bx cherry tomatoes.

It's been beautiful sunshine here today...might nippy in the wind of course but still nice for end November.
 
I'll admit giving vouchers or cash is so much easier than racking your brains etc. My family all have cash. My daughter's asked me what I'd like...having to give that some thought now.

Didn't feel at all well when I woke this morning...had a bit of a fright at 8am with the phone ringing. We both flew out the bed to go downstairs thinking it might be about Joseph's sick brother in-law. Anyway the phone stopped and no number... So had some breakfast and then I went back to bed and stayed there until lunch time.
I think in hindsight it could have been the clementine I ate last night that made me feel ill....I'm not good with citrus fruits.

I know, sometimes I worry about the extremes but it's all down to my terribly sluggish system.

sprouts, carrots, peas

I'm being careful with the chilli because I find beans quite dense for my system so not having 2 carbs at that meal...ie rice or jacket potato. Much as I'd like to.
