Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

Good news today for both of you that's great news

is your consultant running classes on Christmas eve and new years eve ?

Mine is holding weigh only Groups every weekday over the two week period, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Our class is weighing in as usual since it's Tuesday nights but I reckon we might see members from different classes which will be nice seeing new faces

Well food for today wasn't good at all...:eating:

Oh well...tomorrow's another day. :p

I only came down at 9.15...scales said 10.6 1/4lb so no surprises there! lol.

Forecast is rain all day but just looks damp out there, temps 5* and light rain here locally at the moment.
Joseph wants to go to Bexhill, next town, to look at a photography exhibition. And we need to get some special paint for our dining chairs. They're spindle backs and rather wore across the back of some of them. The idea is to do them up and then we need a round table with 4 chairs. We really don't have room for 6 chairs and a large table anymore. Shame as it matches the dresser...it's all limed oak and rather nice.

Our best option would be for a charity shop to do an exchange with us...them being the winner with a larger table, 2 carvers and 4 chairs but they're not interested so we have to sell ours. Another option is to just find a nice round table and keep 4 of our chairs. Maybe we can trawl the charity shops in Bexhill today.
Thanks, I've checked out the freecyle but didn't see anything really.
I saw a really nice set in the Heart Foundation shop but Joseph didn't like it at all...there's the rub, suiting us both!

Glad you got some of your gift cards...I suppose everyone else wanted them too.

I agree the prices do seem quite high and I also think it depends on the town...more high class clientele...the more £££; not that my town is high class at all!!
Well the happenings of today I hope will turn out alright in the end.
By the time it got to 11.30 this morning and we'd had no breakfast I decided to make us a cooked brunch so we wouldn't be hungry later.
After that we walked to the new Aldi and perused for a while... went home with the things we'd bought and then got the car out to go to Bexhill. By this time it was 3pm...
We walked around but didn't see any furniture charity shops but did find a second hand shop open. We were talking to the lady and the owner came in and asked if we'd seen the round table and chairs in his shop next door. He took us to view them. It was a pedestal table and 4 chairs which Joseph can strip back and restore to match our dresser. We told him about ours and I said I'd email a pic and then maybe we could do a deal. He's asking £95 for his so we'll have to see what he offers for ours. So just have to wait and hear from him now... Even so his price is good but we don't want to be stuck with 2 tables and 10 chairs!!
