Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

Frozen raspberries sound good what will you have them with ?

Yes I used to buy soya cream to top strawberries, lactose free's not good for me. But the soya yogurt is thicker...

Just had an email from the table man...says he'll do a swap but wants £10 delivery. It's only 7 miles away so I think as he getting the better deal he could waive that!!! I've emailed him back so shall wait and see what he says.

No, I was fine...I'm in the other room...I was up just before 8am but I haven't heard anything of Joseph yet so could be his night wasn't so good? I shall go and find out in a minute because we have a day planned. First to the town to take his boots in for new soles and some bits in Morrisons. The off (in then back passed home again) to Tenterden, just over the border into Kent. We like that little market town and today we'll have some lunch there and take a look at the Christmas market which starts at 2pm. Lunch will be on the 'government' using the £10 extra they send each of us at Christmas...last night we were laughing saying we'll bill Cameron with the remainder of the bill !!
6 degrees today so will be chilly again walking around. I forgot to say that the photographic exhibition yesterday was extremely good.

Seems he didn't get to sleep until after 1.30am because he was in a stew over his sister of course...she was on the phone again before we went out this morning too!!
The day was lovely...
Haven't had a response from the table man about the delivery charge...I need to mention the subject again to Joseph, we touched on it briefly this morning but he's seems adamant he's not paying £10 for 7 miles! :sigh:

PS...he's agreed...under duress but AGREED!! :D

Scales this morning were up 1/2lb - 10.6 3/4

Food today: lunch out...
Options x 2
chocolate 7
1/2 slice choc cake (we shared)
wild mushroom & leek risotto
side salad
shared portion garlic bread & side salad (3 slices each!) large for only £2!!
small bottle Schweppes ginger beer
Some Ryvita Thins bites cheddar & cracked black pepper (too heavy on the pepper, forgot that!)
banana, apple, grapes
alpro yogurt
walnuts

It was a lovely day in Tenterden, although sunny was chilly. Lunch was nice but we skipped dessert @ £4.50 each!
We looked at the foodie stalls along the main road and came across a SW stall so was nice to chat to the consultant and 'brag' that I was a target & diamond member! :p

Those scales are just plain mean to you...I'm sure it will change again very soon! hang in there...

Yes the food was lovely yesterday and added 1/4lb so now I have a grand total of 10.7...not good! Going to try harder today...

The table swap is happening on Tuesday afternoon so we were out early to get to the paint store with one of our chairs to get some paint mixed so Joseph can restore the table and chairs coming to more or less match the dresser. It's so hard looking at colour charts to find the right shade so hope we have the one.

Yes I know you're not giving up!! Think we both have to make the effort to shift the scales down under target to feel comfortable for Christmas.
Trouble about the project is that it will have to be done in the house...not sure how I will cope with the toxins of oil based egg shell paint?

New subject for the worry wagon...Joseph's eldest sister has a husband 12 yrs older than herself, she's 74. Long story short she's been running around at breakneck speed since April while he was in hospital. Poor man had a part leg amputation and can't come home to live because of all the nursing care he needs etc. So he's in a fine nursing home, like a 5* hotel in north London. She has continued to lose weight and finally seen a private doctor who has done marker tests for cancer... Personally I don't think it's cancer but is rather running her adrenals down with all the worry & concern. She gets her results on Monday so meanwhile Joseph is tetchy because he's concerned of course.
