Fell down the stairs...most people would damage the lower back area, not me! I flipped in the air and hit my upper back area!!
Good grief!

Yes, when I've broken bones I've done good ones...coccyx stepping back onto a round marquee pole on the floor; when I fell I also banged the back on my head squarely so have 40% hearing loss due to nerve damage! Once did an over stride pushing a tesco trolley and broke my small toe...and now the ankle!
When I was in Spain the orthopedic surgeon said I had it in my back along with spondylitis...to be truthful I never actually believed any of it. I did have some very good treatment, self administered injections, then nasal spray and finally Fosamax for several years. When I returned to the UK I did far too much lifting of heavy boxes and feared I broken something in that area again. I was sent for a special thermo xray and was told apart from seeing the faint scars of the fractures, my back was in very good shape. All the spaces in the correct places etc. I was pleased to hear that because of natural bone degeneration as we age. I've had lots of bone density scans and to be honest my bones are good and strong and have always been good for my age. The first one at 46 said I had the bones of a 30yr old women. They said sport at school, never smoking or drinking alcohol has helped preserved them.
I've taken a good daily calcium supplement for years too because of not eating any dairy since I was 24.
Couldn't get to sleep last night till after 2 I think. ..had a long fb chat with my son trying to sort out some issues.
Scales down 1/2lb - 10.4 3/4 haven't seen that number since before new year.....I am trying!
Thanks Donna but no I definitely didn't sleep after the chat. We finished just after 11, then I chewed it over with Joseph for another hour...then I still couldn't rest so propped up and read some of my kindle book on my phone.Oh Janet I hope you managed to sleep better after you had spoken with your son, I too was wide awake last night but I'd eaten loads in the day - all free food but I think the lentil and veg soup may have given me a windy tummy - over the day I did have the whole panful! enjoyed it though but not the disturbed night's sleep. Wishing you a better night tonight. hugs xxx
