Jaylou, this is what I did to stuff it.

I browned a packet of beef mince with an onion and 3 garlic cloves. I added a small carton of pasata and the following herbs, oregano, basil, thyme and a little bit of chilli powder and cumin for a little kick optional with a good splash of Worcestershire sauce. I left it to reduce a little and then left to cool down. I mixed through 2 whisked eggs. This helped to stick it all together in the marrow.

I cut the marrow in half length ways and removed the inner core and seeds and sprinkled with salt. After stuffing the two marrow halves I covered in 42g of light cheddar and put in the oven at 180 for 1 hour. You might want to cover it with some foil for a bit in the oven to prevent the top from browning too much!

All this food has made me sooooo hungry, we have some great cooks out there in mini land though. The dishes look fantastic. I will have to ask the kids how to put some pictures of our dinners on here. I'm tooo thick to do it by myself lol

Stacey your food always look gorgeous! Can I hire you as a cook :D

Sure! Maybe I should change my career....Become a slimming world personal chef and travel up and down the country! LOL

Stacey your meal looks delicious, you are such a brilliant cook, you are our 'Nigella' (although she is a bit heavy!!) so you are our 'Delia' well done again. X

My huge Success Express lunch! Massive bowl of homegrown salad stuff, there's some leftover roasted veggies in there too (courgette, red onion, pepper) and cold salmon on top.

Eating it now!!

I agree Stacey - but I did'nt want you to think I was taking a dig at your figure by likening you to Nigella as she is a bit 'plump', beautiful with it though, forgive me for likening you to Delia ..........

Here was my dinner last night - slow cooker adobo pork loin. Yum! 1 sliced red onion, 8 sliced cloves garlic, 3/4 cup light soy sauce, 1/2 cup vinegar, pork loin roast. Popped it all in the slow cooker in the morning and by the time I came home dinner was ready!
I really like the sound of this one Stacey - how long in the slow cooker and on low med or high?

I think 6-8 hrs on low is best. I left mine all day - about 11 hrs on low and the pork was a little bit dry for my liking.
