Glad you rang the Midwife Jess, but yeah cramping down low and bowel movements is normal enough, the cramping can be from the bowel trying to do its normal job while being squished and sat on by baby.
Sarah all the pressure is a good sign that baby is in good position for labour later on, I'm having lots of pressure now too and loads of braxton hicks.

And we're at about the same stage I guess, hope it is a good sign! Hoping the pressure means he's thinking about moving down a bit. I've had a lot of BH in the past few weeks but not so much at the moment. Today it's the pressure and pain in my pelvis! Or it could just be that I need the loo...

OMG I can't believe he told his mam about ur pooing... DYING!!!
Anyway uv called MW so ur sorted but was gona what's been said. Just make sure u drink lots to keep u n bubs hydrated
TOTM was the time I went toilet properly too. At least there was a good side to seeing AF lol

Hey ladies
Just catching up on birth plan discussion. I would really like a water birth but know that it does depend on whether birthing pool free at the time and also I need to go into labour naturally and no complications. Epidurals scare me but at the end of the day I'll do whatever is best for my baby. I will do a birth plan because I like to organise things as much as I can or at least feel like I've planned things but sure I won't follow it when the time actually comes.

I wouldn't say I go more often but I definitely don't have trouble going and, quite often, its been 'looser'. I always go more when its TOTM too.
Sarah & Laura, I'm so excited for you both that your babies are getting ready!! Eek, cant wait until mine is doing the same, although the bum pressure thing doesn't sound much fun!!

ha ha ha xI don't mind x she facetimed me tonight to make sure I'm ok so we were sat chatting about my poo whilst on camera lol! This is how I know she loves me and has accepted me into their family...she wouldn't do that with anyone else x she told me to text her if I have any worries x

But it is luvly that u have that closeness with her.
Wish I had with j's mam. She's luvly n I kno I can go to her with most things. But she's not MY mam n I kno she has said I can go to her, I'd still be too embarrassed with most I've experienced this preg. Without u ladies I'd be a wreck. I think I'd hav taken up residence at the hospital at this stage
But it is luvly that u have that closeness with her.

It's a bit sore lol! I'm happy though if it means things are moving on. If yours is head down now it hopefully won't be long before he/she is getting ready too
Also this poo conversation is making me lol! I cannot discuss this stuff with Colin so glad we can all be this honest

Aww Jess its so sweet that she is there for you and you are both comfortable with each other. I really really miss my MIL for the very same reason, she was always there for me and nothing was every too much trouble. She shared loads with me too. She's lucky has you too, most DIL's I'd imagine don't involve the MIL that much

Aw x yeah it's nice. Hubby is pretty close to his family (not massively close in an emotional way which is strange) but we see them a lot and they are very involved in our lives. Same with my family really x oh it's such a shame hun
I bet you really miss her xxx

I got some in there too - plus the water wipes which are apparently ok for newborns too

Yes water wipes are fine for new borns. We got some vouchers for them too so bought couple more packets. Nice stack of wipes now

I wud die quicker than I'd speak to j about toilet habits. We'd just loved in together when I had to go hav a colonoscopy done. So the night before the rest when I had to drink that stuff that "clears u out" I sent him to stay at his mams as I knew what I'd be at all evening!!!!! He went down to his mams for the evening but came home as he was afraid something might happen with me being weak from 'it' (I wasn't but he assumed I wud be) but he slept in the spare room coz he came home when I was already in bed!!
