Will be such an exciting couple of months on minis as I suppose a baby could be born every week at the amount of dec/jan/feb babies on here lol! Aww and the pics!!! :) can't wait xx

Just posting this as I meant to yesterday and have just been reminded on my diary!

Don't know if any of you have one (we have one ready for little dude) but Angelcare monitors have been recalled in the US as two babies died from getting tangled in the wire. :( :( They're not being recalled over here but you can ask them for a wire protector and they will send it out for free - there's an email link on the page below with a statement from Angelcare. I think there are newer models that have these already so check which model number you have.

It also reiterates how to fit the monitor and how careful you need to be with wires involved. To be fair to Angelcare, the instructions you get with the monitor are really good and tell you to be v careful and to make sure you fit the monitor wire under the mattress and wrap it around the cot leg and fasten it tight so baby can't ever get to it. I know I'll be extra extra careful with ours when we fit it, it's so awful that anything happened in the first place to warrant all of this :( xxx

Aww those poor babies. And you're right, you would think with wires people would be super-careful!
Re bump dropping I wouldn't worry hun, your muscles are getting stretched and there has to come a point where they just relax! Plus as you say, could be she is now head down and position makes your bump change so much!
Abbie was head down pretty much from the word go and stayed that way.
Am so looking forward to hearing all about everyone's stories!
Xx

You really would. I didn't want to make it sound like it was anyone's fault, those poor parents would have suffered enough, but it's common sense to keep wires away from babies right? Although I know they can be enterprising little things as they get older! xxx

TMI...

One word: Discharge.

How much does my body want to produce?!

Just saying...

Haha, I agree!! I thought pregnancy meant we could stop using panty liners/pads for a while. Actually, I never did use them so had to buy some of the bloody things.

Ha ha. I know right

It's so awkward. I'm sat here with a towel round me after just having a bath, so I'm all clean. I shifted my legs slightly and I can feel (sorry, mega TMI) that I'm now all wet down there :( so now I don't feel clean anymore. :( lol x

Lol I know me too! It's constant xx

That's my reason for not going for a wax. I don't fancy having to explain why I either look like I've pee'd myself or am wearing a pad, especially when my beautician has never had kids xx

How much? All of the discharge, all of the time. It's just grim! And I hate wearing pantyliners, so uncomfortable. This is one thing I never expected from pregnancy lol ;)
