Pregnancy and Slimming World

Yeah I know what you mean! It leaves a taste in my mouth too :-( I have it in porridge can't taste it then with loads of sweetener :) I drink loads of tea but only decaf it did take abit of getting used to but now I prefer it and decaf coffee :)

I was already drinking decaf tea from when we were TTC as the fertility doctor told us to cut out caffeine so it's been pretty easy for me. Love my caffeine free earl grey! Might try it black as an experiment...

I seem to have gone off dairy completely apart from ice cream and cheese! Yogurt tastes vile and I'm off chocolate bars too which is worrying but good for diet ;)

Do you feel like its gone quick? My pregnancy has flown but seems to have slowed down now but that's just coz I 3 wks left which seem to be taking ages to come round! My diabetes is playing up big time so maybe getting induced around the same time as you eeeek I find out next Friday! X

Yes will book appointment tomorrow to get them thanks.

Do u know I wondered whether u might be just before me if u get induced... I have been having loads of braxton hicks, low pressure on my foo foo :) basically like she's going to fall out haha and pooping every day and 3 times yesterdays so convinced myself I was going into early labour.....no such luck.

We booked our annual flights to dalyan for next year (can't go this year because of having baby) and booked our villa so had to make a final decision on Baby's name...so our daughter made the decision we let her choose to get her involved and she chose......

Same here hun, cant face milk but ice cream is another story :D. The horrible copper taste is back and everything tastes horrible so have been living on a lot of toast instead of my usual weetabix in the morning. Also choc doesnt taste the same either so just stuffing myself with crisp instead! x

Sounds just like me! I never really had toast since starting SW and now it's all I can eat for breakfast. If its in the form of a toasted bagel, even better ;) I had a kitkat as a treat on Monday and it tasted awful sadly. Tbh the ice cream I just had tasted lovely at the time but now it's coming back to haunt me. The reflux and heartburn is not helping! More peppermint tea for me...

Yumm i love bagels too, anything to do with bread i love but before i got pregnant i stopped eating bread because it used to make me put on a lot of weight so i am dreading tomorrows weigh in! Heartburn sucks, i'm finding now that i have to wake up especially not to go to the loo like most pregnant women but to take rennies! x

Just saw it now! I think I might have a day off bagels lol!

Lol! It shocked me too. It's hard to visualise being fully dilated but I see it now as a bagel!

Awwwww Rosie Jayne what a lovely name! I've got that pressure too and every time I wee I need a number 2! Which isn't like me I'm normally constipated!! I'm not sure if I'm having braxton hicks because I have a dodgy back and always het twinges plus a tightening in my tummy and I'm not too sure what the other symptoms are! The doc said I should be experiencing them by now! So perhaps I am! My client told me to start drinking black currant tea coz that apparently speeds things up! But I don't want to I'd rather take advice from the professionals and keep the baby in as long as poss! X

I never got braxton hicks with my first 2 but i did get them with my last pregnancy. They are like a tightening across the tummy, a bit uncomfortable. Not had any yet with this baby. Hun its raspberry leaf tea and it doesnt make labour come sooner all it does is speed up the second stage of your labour when your pushing baby out. I didnt take raspberry leaf tea with my first but did with my second and third and it really sped everything up they were out in minutes and with a few pushes. As its your first baby and with your diabetes i would ask your consultant before you took anything like that x

I was being a cheapskate by not getting it and using rennies instead but i think i better get it ready as the heartburn is getting worse and i still have a few weeks left x

Aw, Rosie Jayne is a lovely name <3

We've started talking about names already, can't start too early with such a big decision :) We're gonna have trouble deciding though I think as we are agreed on what we don't like but struggling to find names that we do. We know we definitely don't want a name that's too popular - my name was the most popular girls name the year I was born and I hated growing up with a common name and having four girls with the same name in my class, three in my dance class and five in my class at secondary school! On the other hand husband's name is a little uncommon, for his generation anyway, and he likes that. Can't be a name that's too long either as we have a long surname and we'd like little to be able to spell it before he/she is 10! We don't like made up names but I think we're gonna try to go for something a little unusual, maybe a name from another language or country... :)
