Hopefully that sweep might get things moving for you x
I'm on bounty too and some of the ladies on there are mentioning bombay badboy pot noodle or something or another for getting them into labour. So far i think it has helped one lady, such a shame i dont like pot noodles though x

Went for a picnic today and oh what a nightmare it was. Couldnt run after the children because madam inside jammed her head down so low i couldnt walk, she's still down refusing to shift a bit which she usually does so cant bend without feeling i'm gonna crush her head and my insides! Plus my eyes look like i have been punched several times they are that swollen from hayfever. Might have to rethink the trip to the seaside next week i think x

Just a quick update on my tooth....the clinic that are performing the extraction have emailed to cancel my appointment. They won't perform the extraction until after I've had the baby. It's a wisdom tooth so my own dentist can't do it either -needs to be a specialist apparently.

Not sure where this leaves me.

I remember that feeling. I hope the hay fever eases, is there anything you can take for it?

Last time i was pregnant i was given a nose spray or something but didnt have to take it as i coped but it wasnt heavily pregnant but this time its making life hell. I'm thinking of throwing the towel and going to the doc for something to ease some of the symptoms as i've had another bad day with my hayfever but i dont know when i will get a appointment and i will be 38 weeks tomorrow so maybe i might become a hermit for the next 2-4weeks and stay indoors. Baby is still very low but as i have not done much walking today she hasnt had the pleasure of crushing me down there :D Also had the whooping jab today, arm feels a bit sore but not sore as with the flu jab x

Aww hun maybe you will have to go back to doc and get some stronger painkillers for when the pain strikes x

Fed up girls :-(

Feel like Baby Burgess is never going to come....Boo!!

40wks+1 today

Aww i know the feeling but think of it in this way that baby will have to come in the next 9 to 13 days whether baby want to or not. I know some hospitals induce at 10 days and others at 14 day so not long to go xxx

Thks girls for your positive thoughts. Just fed up of this pre-labour that i am going through since last Thursday. Last night i had regular stomach contraction pain and period cramping from 9pm through too after 12am every 10 minutes or so that stopped me from sleeping however didn't become progressively stronger or closer together then i fell asleep....been up since 4am too. I am just so fed up now :-( x

Laura your body is practising. I think you'll have a very quick labour once you get going for real. I know how tough it is waiting, hang on in there. X

hope everybody is well...

Had midwife app today. So disappointed because even thou she could feel babys head and cervix felt thin it was tilted back so couldn't get to the opening so couldn't do a sweep :-( so upset came home and cried cause was hoping that would help things along. If i dont go into labour naturally i won't be booked in for induction until at least Sunday 14th onwards depending on how busy they are but i won't know until next Wednesday. :-( boo! X
