hope everybody is well...

Had midwife app today. So disappointed because even thou she could feel babys head and cervix felt thin it was tilted back so couldn't get to the opening so couldn't do a sweep :-( so upset came home and cried cause was hoping that would help things along. If i dont go into labour naturally i won't be booked in for induction until at least Sunday 14th onwards depending on how busy they are but i won't know until next Wednesday. :-( boo! X

Aw hun it such a shame she cudn't do a sweep, still keepin my fingers crossed 4 u 2 go naturally b4 2 much longer xx

Awww Hun I feel your pain! I hated them stretch and sweeps I had a few throughout my labour it was awful! Plus my cervix were tilted so the doc has to reach right round it was so painful :-( my friend told me to drink black currant tea not raspberry but black currant she's an herbalist! It helped my friend go into labour she drank loads for 3 days and she was off into labour she had a short intense labour too only took 3 hours from start to having her baby boy! hope you get moving soon I know how uncomfortable you must feel xx

Yes I have been told its tilted before....and my womb. And she just said all I will do is hurt you if I carry on. I think she just decided not to bother....ooh well!

Also been sick twice today and feel sick now :-(

All in all fed up and annoyed....trying to stay positive but its easier said than done. Xx

Aww hun maybe all these feelings and sickness are building up to the real thing. Sweeps dont always help anyway , they never helped me go into labour with any of mines and hurt so much. Fingers crossed baby gets here before your anywhere near induction xxx

I had sweeps with mine too & a lot of other intervention but didn't go into labour (not established).

I know it's hard at the end hun. Can you do other things so you aren't thinking of it all the time -bath; read; go somewhere nice?

Urrghh men!!!
Husbands on my back about packing my hospital bag as he thinks everything will be happening soon! Just managed to wash everything yesterday but couldnt iron anything today as was too tired from lack of sleep and overdoing things yesterday. So i told him no i havent packed anything as everything needs to be ironed and the only thing he can come out with is oh forget the ironing just stick everything in like that! As he seems to think he is pregnant too he is also too tired to do the ironing and his 6th sense tells him labour is imminent!!!!!!!

Hia ladies hows everyone getting on? Safia have your braxton hicks started to get more intense? Your almost there arnt you in a couple if weeks? Eeeek! 11 days on from having Poppy and I feel like myself again just a little weary of my scar so being more careful than usual but other than that all is well! My weight has started to come down, 2 stone down so far but I was and still am full of water so it's not far just baby, water etc! Got to start working on the far pretty soon though seen as I only have 10 months till the wedding eeeek x

I only have 2 probs right now and thats sleep as baby likes to be in a awkward position with her bum stuck out so cant get comfortable at all as she shift her bum to the side i lie on and secondly cant walk much as she is engaged and likes to dig that head in when i've been walking for a while or if i need the look while i'm walking!
Good to hear the weight is coming down. i'm sure it will fall a lot more as this hot weather doesnt help with water retention. Has your diabetes disappeared or do you still have that x

Awww Hun I feel your pain with Poppy I used to get up through the night and bounce on my gym ball to try and get her to move so I could sleep!!!! You some how manage though on no sleep for days I know I did! I'm starting to feel like myself again, anyone out there who thinks a c section is an easy way out they can think again the procedure itself is easy enough it's the recovery but I'm more mobile now and the water retention is evident but getting there! Not sure how this heat wave will affect it though that's coming to us!!! Yeah my blood pressure has stabilised and diabetes seems to have gone although I won't know for sure until my 6 weeks check up around 5th July that's when they'll test me! I'd like to have lost some fat weight ideally by then! It's just so hard because I'm breast feeding and topping poppy up with formula I'm finding that I'm more hungry than ever before! But I think I'm only going to breast feed till the end of the month, she seems to prefer the taste if formula but I just want to make sure she is getting enough vitamins etc especially with her being premature and tiny! She's a brilliant little sleeper though! Just done her first feed of the night so off to sleep till 4 for her next feed but the other half does that one we take it in turns! xx

Trying to be super good so my dress will still fit on the day! Had a fitting other day and.luckily as I'd slimmed down for it I have room to spare so leaving it as it is now so ive extra room for any baby bump I have on the big day! Slinky, lovely to hear poppy is doing so well. I hope the recovery is speedy for you. I'm always scared of needing an emergency section so it's good to hear that your recovering quite well. Enjoy the rest (with a new baby haha). She's gorgeous. It's ages until I meet my bump lol.

Thanks so much hunny! We've got a fun way of announcing it at the wedding planned, just got to see first if I can manage to hide it for another 8 weeks or if I'll get a bump that will give me away! Xx

I am so envious of you, I really struggle and my feet kill after a short period of time which is a shock as pre-preg i was really activite on my feet. I am so envious of you, I really struggle and my feet kill after a short period of time which is a shock as pre-preg i was really activite on my feet. Everytime I go out when I get home i have to immediately swap into my pjs as I am soaked, it's absoutely baking where i am. I am dreading how I will manage the next few days. Think I will do my shopping in the evening!

I take back what I said. Just sat outside for 30 mins and I'm melting. How can it be so cold in my house I had the fire on in my living room earlier. Crazy weather.

Nobody go into labour this weekend! Legs crossed, it's too hot to labour in!
