Oh dear :( Thankfully heartburn is one thing I rarely get while pregnant.

My OH has just phoned to say he's just leaving work. Not much point me going to bed now cause he just comes in all hyped up & wakes me anyways.

MMMMM, chocolate! I can't have chocolate cause it makes me ill :(

Choc is my enemy when i'm pregnant but still cant help but it eat it. This pregnancy as i have been on and off sw i havent had much heartburn and its definately been the easiest pregnancy so far, just slowing down a bit now. I wish my husband was more hyper but as predicted he has slowed down and is even more pregnant than me! Lol honestly if anyone saw him and me they would think he was the pregnant one! Gonna go and take some rennies and lie down to see if sleep comes but baby is having a disco so very much doubt it x

It's the job my OH does. He needs time to wind down & chat about what has happened.

Good luck hun, hope you sleep xo

Lip balm is all ready to be packed in once i start packing, that gas and air really drys out lips x
All my babys had jaundice for a few days and than it cleared up but they were all full term so hope poppy's clears up soon too and mummy's milk will do her some good too x
Lol i look like a penguin when i'm walking now but look like a whale otherwise! Sleep is mad, i want to sleep all day but cant because of my other children and as soon as i get into bed sleep disappears soo tired, will take advantage of my husband being home tomorrow to get a nice daytime nap in x

Haha gosh It was only 8 days ago i waswalking like a penguin! Eeeeek where does the time go!?! Poppy is doing excellent I'm a very proud mummy she had bilirubin (a type of jaundice) that if left untreated can be serious do fortunately it's been picked up on and acted on I can't fault the staff in the children's ward but on that maternity ward absolute disgusting! There was blood on a toilet seat for 3 days no wonder people are getting infections etc absolutely disgusting plus full of foreign students which I have nothing against except the ones I dealt with could hardly speak English let alone write on mine and Poppy's notes! Anyway rant over the experience in a whole was a positive one!
Towards the end I was the exact same could sleep during the day only briefly then I'd get this burst if energy (it soon wore off, lol) but night time I used to just sit downstairs bouncing on my gym ball! I can't believe this time last week I had started induction which I absolutely hated by the way I hope you don't have that! Then examinations, stretch and sweeps etc OMG painful they should give you gas and air for them! My cervix hasn't softened or moved down so I had a lot if manual interventions shall we say Urghhh makes me sick everytime I think of it! Then I look at Poppy's little face and think Wowzer she is so worth it :)
Well I'm glad your doing ok huni thinking of you :)

Urghhhhh to the toilets. When I pack my hospital bag I always pack dettol antibacterial wipes because I hate public toilets and pg women can't hover! Glad you both survived the ward though. Glad the children's ward is better. I hope she recovers soon, I had 2 jaundiced babies too. She'll be fine.

Mines the same woes to share wine to drink. I try to look sympathetic after each night of fighting 4 kids to go to blooming bed.

Omg the cuteness!!!!! She's beautiful.

I think the earliest you feel braxton hicks is around 24 weeks on average but some women say they feel them earlier x

Happy 24 weeks and viability!!!!

I had bh with ds 2 and 21 weeks. It's surreal feeling getting them do early. And I think probably earlier with my girls.

Aw what a cutie x

Gorgeous! My local hospital won't bath or allow babies to be bathed because it's apparently now bad for them?! It was recommended with my first baby.

We were advised to only bathe her once a week and wash her hands and face daily only using water and cotton wool! Think it's all the chemicals in lotions that can cause allergies that's what the parent educator tutor told everyone!

Thanks Hun shes doing great her levels have dropped loads do they've turned the light off and doing bloods at 2pm to see if its gone! I hate public toilets too I always put toilet roll on the seats b4 I sit on them which proved difficulty when pregnant when your bladder is bursting it can be time consuming lol! The maternity ward was rank, delivery was extremely clean but that maternity ward was horrid!

I thought it was just me that did that. I use toilet paper for the doors and flush too. OCD desperate to break out lol. I feel physically sick when I see someone leave a public toilet without washing their hands.

I'm sure Poppy's bloods will be just fine now, the light tanks are great.

Aww she is gorgeous and it looks like she doesnt mind the water, some newborns like to scream the place down at their first bath, my first daughter did that x
So far i have escaped induction (my second daughter was born on the day i was meant in for induction!) and hopefully i will escape it this time too. Unfortunately with first time mummies they are always intervening and just being a nuisance most of the time, my first time still gives me the sweats but it does get better after your first as your body is already prepared and so are you x
The midwife at my last labour was from a european country and lets just say i cant believe some of the stuff she did. She rushed me and everything else like stitching (she cleaned me and stitched me without numbing me down there!) because she wanted to be finished by the time her shift ended as she couldnt pass me onto another midwife as other midwife couldnt do the notes as she wasnt present. Needless to say if she is allocated to me again i will be asking for another midwife x
Urrghh and dont get me started on dirty hospitals :p x

Haha no your not on your own! Everytime I go to ikea I pinch them disposable toilet seat covers I should just buy some really! It dates back to a teenager I caught something off a dirty toilet seat the rash I had was horrid so always done it since then! My friends laugh but I don't care, I know my loo seat is spotless! I do too I'm a beauty therapy teacher and obsessed with sanitising and sterilising it literally takes 5mins max to wash and dry hands properly some people are disgusting!

Poppy's levels have come down loads so its just a matter of fattening her up now and keeping an eye on her so it doesn't come back but the community midwife is really good she's on the ball! Much better than the one I had whilst pregnant :)
Anyway hope all is well with you :)
