Pregnancy and Slimming World

Well I have spent nearly 3 hours in hospital thanks to an eejit rear ending my car. They scanned me & baby seems ok. I had to get an anti d injection but apart from that blood pressure etc was ok. Im so tired & sore now. My youngest fell asleep in the car on the way home from his nannies (she minded the kids while I went to the emergency unit). He is still asleep on my sofa so I'm waiting for him to waken so he can have dinner then we can go to bed.
Annoyed that some asshole ruined our day & caused so much stress cause he couldn't wait his turn. My poor car needs to go get fixed too :-(

Aww hun there are some really selfish drivers out there, did you get insurance details or did the driver drive off. Glad to hear that you and baby are well despite all the stress xxx

Awww Hun I feel your pain with Poppy I used to get up through the night and bounce on my gym ball to try and get her to move so I could sleep!!!! You some how manage though on no sleep for days I know I did! I'm starting to feel like myself again, anyone out there who thinks a c section is an easy way out they can think again the procedure itself is easy enough it's the recovery but I'm more mobile now and the water retention is evident but getting there! Not sure how this heat wave will affect it though that's coming to us!!! Yeah my blood pressure has stabilised and diabetes seems to have gone although I won't know for sure until my 6 weeks check up around 5th July that's when they'll test me! I'd like to have lost some fat weight ideally by then! It's just so hard because I'm breast feeding and topping poppy up with formula I'm finding that I'm more hungry than ever before! But I think I'm only going to breast feed till the end of the month, she seems to prefer the taste if formula but I just want to make sure she is getting enough vitamins etc especially with her being premature and tiny! She's a brilliant little sleeper though! Just done her first feed of the night so off to sleep till 4 for her next feed but the other half does that one we take it in turns! xx

Lol i wish i could jump on a gym ball through the night but my son has become clever and if he cant feel me next to him he will wake up and scream the house down! Need to do something about his clingyness. C sections and episiostomy the 3rd degree and more ones are really hard to recover from, i had 360 episotomy with my first and it took me a couple of months to recover and plus they stitched me up so tight it hurt to even have sex for many months!!! Keep cool and drink tonnes of water and that should keep any further water retention at bay during the heatwave, just wish i could take my own advice but the toilet trips are driving me crazy so not drinking a lot now.
Fingers crossed that at your 6 weeks checkup everything is back to normal. Hunger is normal especially with breastfeeding, i didnt even breastfeed and i was ravenous after having my children lol, the problem starts with what you eat to satisfy that hunger and in my case it was junk so put on loads of weight after having babies. But i think you mentioned you still eating healthy because of you diabetes so i bet you will have lost more weight by you appointment on the 5th. Your really lucky i wish this baby is a sleeper like my second one was and not a every 2 hour feeder like my 1st and 3rd! x

Hi ladies, can I join? Im 7 weeks pregnant with my 3rd pregnancy. I have a beautiful 14 month old boy and I has an early miscarriage in march. Touch wood everything will go ok with this one, im feeling positive about it. Due around 20th february, though that date may change when I have my first scan to confirm dates! Have been doing slimming world for a year and lost 4 stone, plus lost the stone and a half of baby weight before I joined, so im the slimmest ive ever been now. My fiance and I are.getting married 8 weeks tomorrow and we're going to try to keep the pregnancy a secret until the wedding so we can announce it at the reception. Trying to be super good so my dress will still fit on the day! Had a fitting other day and.luckily as I'd slimmed down for it I have room to spare so leaving it as it is now so ive extra room for any baby bump I have on the big day! Looking forward to getting to know you all! Xx

Today was really hot but funnily enough it didnt affect me as much as usual. I think its because for some reason my hayfever symptoms have disappeared today and it didnt feel humid just hot. Had a long shopping trip of 6 hours today aswell x

OH was in the car so he phoned the police who sent an ambulance. Hopefully everything is getting sorted through insurance. I'm getting seriously painful kicks right on my bits tonight though so can't sleep. Hurting me so bad :-(

Thanks so much for the warm welcome ladies! Had a bit of an eventful evening muself, spent 2 hours in a&e. Been javing paims in my lower right abdomen, like someones got a mini taser electeocuting me on and off. Got told to go to a&e to rule out an ectopic or appendix. Luckily dr doesnt think its ectopic but hes booked me in for a scan at EPAU at 8:45 tomorrow to put my mind at rest, so hopefully get to see little bean happy, where its meant to be wriggling around. Will let you know how it goes xx

Argh I can't sleep. Im so sore & restless. Yep he woke up then wouldn't sleep. OH came home to find son dancing all over our bed. Everyone in the house now asleep bar me & baby x

I am so tired! How do you manage sleep with 3 littles already Safia? My 2 have two different sleep patterns and baby seems to be different again. I've still pain down in my pelvis and my back which has made sleeping near impossible. There's a big cbeebies event today though that we have tickets for so I need to get up.
