The midwife asked my bf if he wanted to record it so he did. I was only 7 weeks so cudnt see much but was amazing. N baby mooned us n we hav it on video. Was amazing to show his mam n stuff

No she didn't ask actually but she said it was very strong

Baby waved at us and kept wriggling about, it was very active. I wish we could have it on video, it'd be so cool! But I have it replaying over and over in my head

It was the most amazing experience of my life

Aw, so glad it all went well Dougal! That's a really good picture too, you'll be amazed at the difference you see at your scan in two weeks xxx

Wow what a day! Started having irregular random contractions last night and through the early hours turned into intense regular contractions. So rang triage and said they needed to be more close together and this was at 4:45. So decided to wait at home until more development happened. Hrs later regular and very intense contractions . Rang hospital again and decided it was time. Sadly by the time hubby and ds1 got ready i wanted tp busy so stayed at hone until ambulance came. Two bloke paramedics arrived 10 mins later entering my bedroom with me on bed vagina on show! But 10 mins later second lot of paramedics came! Then two midwifes arrived soon after. I was on gas and air but the midwife took the gas and air away as i was too relaxed and needed top pidh. Fully dilated and my waters broke but later found out they weren't so they broke them for me special that baby could move. But then the baby pooed in the sac. Worried baby was in distress and umming and arring whether to go as i give on 16th floor. Baby was coming so they watched how i got on with more gas and air. They decided to go as i could slow down the process. On a rocky ride to the hospital. Got into laour ward and a few pushes baby arrived at 9:40am today. Llwellin armed and totally beaitiful. Dougal I bet yer walking on air. Really us the best feeling ever. For me it was my best scan yet. The other were amazing n u cud see lots more n it looked more a baby. But that first look at ur baby is the most precious IMO.

Still got another week before we was going to tell (was actually going to wait until after next scan which is 12+4) but as we've seen baby and alls well, we just can't help ourselves!
Still telling people not to talk about it on FB as we haven't announced it on there and won't until we've had 12 week scan
I'm shattered and considering a nap but I'm happy

(I know i'm being over cautious but the thought of something going wrong n having to tell all those people.....)

Baby Georgia Mae was born sleeping on Monday 21st October. I had to labour her naturally knowing she had already gone. I got almost 24 hours with my beautiful girl before she had to leave us in hospital. Unfortunately I have a 3rd degree tear to contend with as well as all the usual post birth things but no baby.
Georgia was laid to rest today in a private service we all attended.

This was one of those things that just happened. We are waiting on post mortem results but they don't think we'll find an answer.

I wish you all the best with your pregnancies and please do not allow this to affect your happiness. Out of all my friends and family I am the only one this has happened to so please feel safe in the knowledge that Georgia was always meant to be an angel in heaven.

I got almost 24 hours with my beautiful girl before she had to leave us in hospital. Unfortunately I have a 3rd degree tear to contend with as well as all the usual post birth things but no baby.
Georgia was laid to rest today in a private service we all attended.

This was one of those things that just happened. We are waiting on post mortem results but they don't think we'll find an answer.

I wish you all the best with your pregnancies and please do not allow this to affect your happiness. Out of all my friends and family I am the only one this has happened to so please feel safe in the knowledge that Georgia was always meant to be an angel in heaven.

We told all our family within days of finding out.. Oops.. I was too excited.. But I waited til I was out of the first trimester (13 weeks) to tell anyone else...
We've not done the FB announcement thing at all coz I'm just terrified of something happening (even this far on) and we've told anyone we're close to.. I sent a FB PM to a few family n friends who are in the UK and other parts of Ireland that I wouldn't see as often but have asked people to keep it from the nosey world of FB.. Just in case... (I know i'm being over cautious but the thought of something going wrong n having to tell all those people.....)

I know what you mean- a woman at work was pregnant, 18 weeks and she's just had a stillbirth. She's 39, got 4 kids, but got remarried and they wanted one together. They wanted a boy and it was a boy.
Basically they had the Down's syndrome test and it came back high risk so she had an amnio (the one that carries a risk of mc) and they couldn't find a heartbeat and the fluid was going. So she had to go into labour.

So sad and scares me. She had announced it on FB too.

I'm so so sorry to hear that mama-bear I'm glad you got to spend that precious time with her before she had to leave you. Please don't feel like you've brought the thread down, you have as much right to talk to us about your little angel as anyone else does about their babies. I hope you and your family are healing as best you can, you are in my thoughts. xxx
