Pregnancy Pregnant with baby number 2, need to stick to plan :) x

My little lady is definitely a clever little monkey! So today she's tried lots if new food! She had wheatabix for breakfast, I really thought she'd hate it because of that lumpy texture but she scoffed the lot! Then she went to my nans for the day. They went for a long walk into town and back home via the seafront! She was really well behaved. I treated her to a high chair she sat in it for tea perfectly! She had a jar of spaghetti bolognese followed by 2 rice cakes! Then while I was sat cutting up my tea she was playing on her mat I looked up and she was on her tummy! The first time she rolled on her own and I missed it! Gutted :( xx

I am totally gutted as I've spent the last 2 weeks helping her out! Lol x but so proud she's finally got it :) x so far since 9 I've been up 4 times to her .. She's in such a happy mood she won't sleep! Nice day out tomorrow to the aquarium x then lunch will my sister and bil x then popping into work to see a few of the girls :) x excited but dreading it! Hate that place with a passion and it's getting closer and closer til I go back :( xx

Oh God... She's getting more like a little girl n less like a baby with every picture!!! She's do cute but my God has she grown!!!
 
I know so scary! We're off to view her pictures later that she had on weds .. I know ill leave the shop £200 lighter!! I won't be able to resist :( x

Bet I'm the same when I go to see Eabha's!!! Except my shoot is EUR400 if I take them all. N that's the package price with 50% off offer
 
We bought the copyright for £150 and for an extra £9 you get 3 nice prints :) x I'm excited to go to asda or boots to print lots out :) x

Leaving again for??.....maternity again, yes. To leave the job - I think u have to pay some back xx

Yes I think so. As you are still employed even when you're on mat leave. What are you intending to do after baby number 2? Leave or go back? As will determine what pay package you will get xx
 
No nothing to tell .. Don't wanna get pregnant straight away if I'm not entitled to maternity pay :( I won't go back after baby number 2 there won't be any point x hubby said if I don't get mat pay for the next baby then there is no point in going back for a few weeks x

If yr not going bk after a baby the mat pay is significantly lowered as far as I'm aware. You would still get SMP tho...along with whatever they do give u...but in the run up u would be getting a full wage!!

I think it's a judgment call that only u and hubby can make xx
 
Yeah I would investigate. You would likely still be entitled to something. Have you got/can you get a copy of their maternity policy? If you are thinking about not going back now after Emily you would need to repay some of your mat pay or go back for a set amount of time. In the NHS it's 3 months at whatever hrs you did before? X

Maybe not then. But whilst you're off this time you can still accrue smp for next time I think?
Yes maternity pay in the nhs is really good. You get 8 weeks full pay, then 18weeks half pay with smp, then 18 weeks smp, then the last 18 weeks is nothing. But you can average it out over the year so you get a set amount each month. So it is good. I think it's to encourage you to go back! X
 
I just get normal smp x I'm gonna write to hr lady tomorrow get the maternity policy .. I tried to find it on the files before I left but our computer files are soo messy I gave up! X
 
Any tips on sleeping ladies? I can't cope with no sleep anymore .. She used to be a great sleeper :( now we get up about 10 times a night :( x
 
What's the problem hun? Is she hungry? Cold? Development leap? There is loads of info on Internet. I think it's baby sleep site? Xx
