Wasn't feeling it today, think it was because it is slightly colder than it has been but that was hard work! But it is now done, giving me my extra 1.5pts for brekkie.

I wont be on again today, my pipe band is running a competition in Glasgow so I am there for the long-haul as photographer (stealing my wee brothers semi-decent camera).

But all points shall be tracked le cell-phone-tele-phone.

I was thinking more the 2 camp guys from Chewin the Fat :D

So yesterday was a very long day but very worth it too in term of the band achieving stuff.

But, also I had a great day weight-loss wise.

First off my band were doing the soundcheck for the mics (couldn't really ask one of the competing bands) so I travelled up just in a poloshirt and shorts and t-shirt - it was warm enough, just! The guy in the train station ticket office was very complimentary on my weight loss, asking how much etc etc.

Got up to the hotel and talking to a guy from the band and he used the phrase 'phuck me you have lost a whore of a lot of weight' which I thought was a brilliant compliment haha!

It then came up again quite a bit as we had a big buffet on. I was gonna just pop out to subway (all the while my wee brother telling me just to get tore in to the buffet) so I KNEW my points. But looking at it I clocked a big tray of cous cous and remembered the set points so as much as I could have for 5! Result! So I am walking about with a massive bowl of cous cous, almost all the salad there and a couple of corn chips with salsa sauce over it (I pointed the whole thing as 9 in the end). So when people clocked this they asked about if I'm on a diet etc etc and lots more decided to compliment me on my weight loss.

We also got given special poloshirts for yesterday. My first poloshirt in the band was an XL. My second (the one I wore going to the venue yesterday) was L and the one I got today was a medium, and a baggy one at that!

So all in all, quite a good day for me weight-loss wise! Oh and, even including a Guinness, I had 21 points over the day!

Sorry I didn't get back to you about my jog. But that week i did manage to go for one and since just been doing the gym and a little jogging on the treadmill (run walk etc). Really got crap knees. Do as much as I can until just before they start to cease up and then walk.

And great job on the pointing with the buffet!

Alas I was ran off my feet all day taking pictures (god only knows the actual points I probably earned).

That's good on the jogging front though! My left knee is surgically repaired (long story from when I was 15...a football was involved) so I have always been apprehensive about running on it but it has been fine, probably better than the good one!

Sounds like a brilliant day yest! Well done to still being good with the buffet, to have that control is amazing!!

Oooh, i LOVE them!! they are soo funny - my OH has the series, really good.. BUT: thank god for subtitles - would be COMPLETELY lost without them :eek:

Well yesterday was also a success...all day pub :D

Had 14 points spare that went on drink as I never ate once I left the house.

Pretty certain I was still drunk this morning but I made it in to work and am now slowly dying!

Only the 2nd time I have ever done it, it is something I really go out of my way to avoid, but yesterday was earned :D

I'll be rough until I go to sleep, a hangover tends to be an all day thing with me!
 
Yuk - poor you! I used to quite like a couple of drinks mid-week but I can't do it any more! Not my age I hasten to add - more that I work with dependent alcohol/drug users and I couldn't bear the smell of their alcohol in the morning when I was hungover! Besides not setting a very good example!

You'll be doing well to keep away from stodgy food then - I usually crave carbs when I'm hungover!
