267 miles cycled, 45 miles today, tough hilly club run with B+ group. Stopped at at cafe for a glider club( yes, it was at the top,of the North Downs!) had a slice of lemon sponge cake and 2 coffees with a sugar in. Gt a puncture on some rough path, flint chipping, Mended quickly by senior members who had back wheel on within 5 or 6 minutes. Very long ride, I set off at 09.30 for the ride to start at 10 and got home at 2.40. Total miles cycled 312 miles

Green ( haven't done back to back green in a while, thought I would try it to see if I helps with recovery after the club bike rides , will know when I go running on tomorrow)

I know , it's tough, but I'm good at tough......most of the time.


312 mile ridden, 55 mile bike ride , some hills, it was rolling as opposed to undulating....my legs didn't feel the difference. Had a big slice of Bakewell at our coffee/brunch stop at a golf course ( and a sugar in my coffee) biggest ride to date. I've signed up for a 100 km Audax event at the end of the month.....oh and I cam third in the sprint home, that did my legs...... 367 miles total this year .

Then really went crazy and had some morrisons fruit flan and lattice rhubarb thing. All delicious. Will get back on plan tomorrow and keep the training up.

My sister in law has chickens, not too sure which type, & they are good layers, so I picked up some yesterday, I'm going to make pasta quiche for Saturday, we're going out & it'll be a long day so that'll be nice to have when we get home.

That sounds like a great standby for away days, I'm going to look that recipe up. Nice one Happyholidays!

367 miles riidden, 35 gruelling hilly miles, 2 punctures and broken front derailleur. B pls group, only 8 brave souls braved the hills, the wind and early rain. Coffe and lemon cake at bent Glider Club , on top of the North Downs. 402 miles total.


Weighed in yesterday at target 12'10. Going tO have a bit of a day off pan, the cycling makes me very hungry, plus my son is home from college and he wants a paella.
