Re-starting for the final time, this is it!!!!

urgh just made a big mistake and didnt realise till i had it done, had some tuna for lunch but i had the john west no drain in a little sunflower oil instead of the brine. i hope this doesnt give me a tango moment. Must of picked the wrong one up from the shop, as i do always buy the one in brine!!

Did you not drain it or have I read that wrong?! X

yeah i was wondering why it didnt taste as nice lol. so far so good anyway.

only doing 30 minutes on the treadmill a day now, 20 minutes in a morning and 10 in the evening, funny enough the 10 minutes tonight seemed harder than the 20 this morning. Although have to say i could feel my legs throbbing this morning when i stopped, has to be a good sign :D

had sweet potato and butternut squash instead of mashed potato tonight, and i actually enjoyed it, i wasnt sure about it at first!! Nice change to having potato, although still had to cook it for the others. So tea was chicken in philly with garlic and yellow pepper, sweet potato, butternut squash and carrots mmmm very low calorie meal!!

Had a sneaky weigh in this morning, and was so happy with what i saw hopefully it will stay that way or even improve by wednesday weigh in :D

Dinner sounds great.. I really like sweet potatoes and butternut squash, the hairy dieters cook book has a butternut and parsnip soup - found out I don't really like parsnip. Will make the soup again but with sweet potatoes. Also parsnips are not low GI

cant believe i am saying this but i am finding it hard to up my calories, today i have eaten just under 1400, i am allowed around 2200 a day and with the exercise i have done that rises to 2732, should i be eating more?? just in need of a bit of advice

If what your saying is that you are not hungry for any more food, then do not force yourself to eat any more. You need to listen to your body and your hunger signals. But also remember you do not need to eat all your cals each day as long as you have eaten at least min 1200 (MFP tells you if you have eaten too little)

Tomorrow is another day, you maybe more hungry tomorrow, that's ok, Eat more one day eat less the next - figure out your hunger patterns :)

My parents were all about eat everything on your plate, don't waste stuff.. Give yourself permission to not eat your extra cals - you might figure out real hunger from forced hunger or head hunger

I try not to eat my exercise cals / some days I might go into them a little bit but not that often.

Your doing great!

Like Tara says don't eat them if you don't need to, I am allowed 1400 (well I actually set it myself) but try to do 1300ish. I also don't eat my exercise cals, very occasionally I'll pop in to them with a banana if I'm starving but I just figure that gives me a deficit which I'd hope means a loss, I certainly seem to have good losses the weeks I do a lot of exercise....

Bob Harper says no food after dinner/ 8pm

Jullian (30 day shred) says no eating after 9pm
3 meals 2 snacks and no snacks after dinner except water ;)

Bought some of there books recently!!

so fed up this morning had another sneaky weigh and i am 1lb up from what i was friday (although am still 2lb down from wednesday) was just hoping for a bigger loss this week. I havent even gone near my cals limit over the weekend, maybe its because yesterday was a lot of carbs and looking back quite a high fat intake for me :( must reduce carbs today!! Saying that i have just started the day with high carbs, i was starving after doing my morning workout!! Rest of the day NO BREAD!!

had an ok day today, still quite high in carbs, but mostly good carbs from fruit and veg so not too bothered.

not feeling great in myself at all today, my doctor had stopped my original anti depressants (i am on a new on) but having such bad withdrawl symptoms he is having to put me back on them. felt today like i was having a nervous breakdown or somat, have felt so angry and have took it out on the kids which isnt fair on them, then i have been emotional and have had terrible tremors going through me. felt very panicky at times too, so hopefully will feel better soon. But through it all i have stayed on track

Hey some times cutting bread/ wheat based items from your diet can give you withdrawal symptoms for a few days to a week, but once over them your feel much better, less foggy, less hungry, more stable moods etc Perhaps if it is the reduction in wheat/ bread items grab a small amount 25g of nuts when you start feeling a bit Grrrr it might help :)

For some people wheat based items can be an addition and give a high similar to drugs - not everyone is like this, but if you have a cycle of needing to eat at 9-10 am after your breakfast of a wheat based item, then need an early lunch at say 11am needing to eat every 2 hours after eating a wheat based item - and if you don't eat then you get the shakes in your hands and body it's possible that you have an addition to wheat - was reading about it recently in the book "wheat belly"

Hope you feel better tomorrow :)

I tend to eat 5 almonds at a time and have not had issues, but I also leave 1-2 hours after a tablet before I have them :) cashew nuts, walnuts are good too but in small quantise and in their raw form, not salted etc have 25g during the day but a different times, when I eat them.
