Just updating. On Tuesday we are going for a picnic in the park for the Jubilee with friends (day before weigh in) now I KNOW that I will go a little off track for that day but I'm hoping to limit it to the picnic. It's a special occasion, we are splitting the food. I know it may mean no loss or even a gain on Weds but I'll deal with that and be super-good the following week. I know I can do that soooo...

I also had a cheeky mojito last night - I had the most gigantic craving for one - just the one though!!

Weekend been busy with my 7 year old having various social events (7 year olds have such full diaries) and my 4 year old completely grasping the bike riding without stabilisers - he could do it before but he was reluctant as his balance bike was easier. This weekend he has completely embraced bike riding as a big boy. lol.

Went really off plan today at the picnic but I knew I was going to. Weigh in tomorrow and I'm prettty sure I'll be sorry about it then. Next week is another week though and the Jubilee picnic was good fun!!!
 
Hey, as ever Red you have stayed on plan where others (me) would have failed. Ok yesterday was a bit of a fail, but you knew it and you planned around it and you only went off plan for one day of the whole long weekend, which is commendable. I have been a monster with the food and booze, I need to detox. On my way into work today I am grabbing a sh!t load of lemons!!!

Hopefull the scale gods are on your side this week and will forgive you for yesterday and show some low figures!

Ah Charley, I know what my body is like and it can put on weight so quickly, so one day off can make a big difference to me.

Anyway, on that note weigh in .... STS no loss, no gain, which I suppose will do, give that my blip was thje day before weigh in. Back on track this week :)

I am the same Red, my body is also rather unforgiving. Saying that I put on 2lbs this week and I am surprised it wasn't more, I think the fact that last weigh in day was my due on date and made me STS balanced out that and I probably in theory must have put on 4-5lbs, but I am not going to argue with the scales, i will take and accept that 2lbs gain and make things better this week.

Let's be back on track together!

Hi Red - I think all of us had blow outs this week - it would have been very disrespectful to the queen not to indulge just a little wouldn't it! I managed a 1lb loss which I am over moon with and I know next week will be tough...but hey ho...we're here and we're committed

Catch up soon, but kids are home from stay with grandparents and I just want to smell, hug and kiss them xxx

I like your thinking - disrespectful to the Queen indeed. Massive congrats on your 1lb loss - awesome. I think my STS was due to it being directly before weigh in, hopefully I will do better next week.

I had some green days and I must admit I could have done better with the veg etc. but I was dashing about all over the place doing stuff and I was very lazy about cooking. I'll have to try harder this week.

I haven't tried the burgers, I shall try them on your recommendation. I had cayenne with hot lemon and quite liked it (odd of me I know!). I haven't had any lemon juice today though.

:bliss:which makes up for last week's sts. Have a BBQ on Sunday again for fathers day so another little hurdle.

My youngest has another morning in school to get ready for going next year and yesterday we went too watch the Olympic torch with his school (and I took my youngest too) and then out to a soft play with him and his best friend (and his mum) where we sat and had coffee - very civilized.

Working today, have 2 students tonight one is a new one - first session which is always a bit nerve wracking for them and me!

Hope everyone is having a good day - will have to pop round the diaries.

Great going lass - told you it would be good.
Just avoid the sausages or take some quorn ones with you and stick to chicken kebabs or similar if you can.
We BBQ all the time in the summer - well we have too as it's too bleddy hot to cook indoors.
And I managed to maintain a slow and steady loss last year by avoiding my beloved cumberland suasages and full fat coleslaw! :cry:

Hi everyone, thank you for your comments. I must visit diaries later tonight.

I haven't written my food diary for a few days, however, I have stayed on plan and under 9syns per day. Yesterday we had a BBQ at the inlaws and I stayed on plan as much as I could food wise. Had chicken (picked all the skin off) and sausages (low fat) and lots of salad and a few plain new potatoes. I avoided all the bread and creamy stuff and only had strawberries and raspberries for dessert.

Busy weekend had the school summer fair and baked some fairy cakes with butterflies on them, then the BBQ. Got a student tonight so need to get on now.

So need to get back into writing it down again
