Sandra's maintenance diary.....

Sandra, hope the TFR week goes well for you. It will surely knock off those few pesky pounds you want to be rid of.

Good day today.....several nights without pills! Not sleeping right through but didn't used to do that often anyway.

Had physio which was good and then went to my gym and tried my first Pilates class.....as it happened it was concentrating on core balance, hips and pelvis. OMG was it hard, I just didn't appreciate that all the muscles from my knees to my waist are sooo weak, not just from being carved up but from not being used properly for months! I am so tired tonight but in a good way iykwim?

Been counting on myfitnesspal.com got about 500 calories left cos I've
earned so many today with 2 hours of exercise .....I've had one glass of SB so may treat myself to another! It is so easy to track what your eating and exercising.....I wish that I'd discovered it before!

Today's food

B branflakes and milk, vitamin C drink
L smoked salmon, mixed salad, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot and lf French dressing. Muller light yogurt
Snack a pear and a kitkat
D Count on us chicken and vegetable chow mien......forgot to take something out of the freezer and too tired to cook from scratch! m&S caramel dessert. A glass of SB
Hot choc later

Total 1,377 calories apparently. 378 calories under what I've used today, I like this thingy, it told me that if I carried on eating like today I would be 146 lbs in 5 weeks!

Looks good Sandra. Glad you enjoyed the pilates, sounds like it'll do you good :)

Enjoy your SB - have one for me ;) xx

Are we all contemplating counting cals now and not following pp?!!! :giggle:

Well if it give me a body like yours I'll be well chuffed:D

lol I did classes for a few months and then stopped but I do a few of the moves myself every day at home. I've found it's helped my major problem area the lower tummy!

Dunno about everyone else Tan, but I'm going to, I really want to shift that half a stone and get rid of the 3lbs or so that is sat on the outside of each of my thighs! Honestly it's so noticeable.......in bed last night I was getting Paul to feel it (ok stop right there!) and it's clearly discernible, like a little lump! Same on my lower tummy about my hysterectomy scar......dunno if I can shift that bit though.....

He's gone away today so we had the packing lark last night. His bag weighs about 20 kilos which we could barely life but which, horrifyingly, is about the amount of weight that I've lost......he even commented again this morning as he was lifting it into the car:eek:

It's great when you can actually FEEL that weight :D - I bet you felt good.

I hope that weight comes off where you want it too! Shame we can't 'spot-reduce' to order! xx

Good morning all!

Well....had a great day yesterday but, obviously, not food wise! Had my usual porridge for breakfast and a chicken and bacon Caesar salad for lunch followed by a couple of slivers of Brie and cheddar and 3 crackers. But......had a whole bottle of Pinot Grigio! Just tried to count it all and came to over 2,000 calories so a complete right off.....also weighed in at 3lbs up this morning, I drank 2 litres of water during the night as I was absolutely parched......oh and had some chocolate when I came home pissed......

Anyway, yesterday forgotten onwards and upwards......just had my Exante shake for a rather late breakfast, am hoping to stay on this until next Saturday.......we shall see!

Quite right to have a final splurge! A quick-on temporary gain now will give u extra loss on WI - RESULT! lol. Good luck with the TFR

Thx darling......just got a text from Paul, he's sat in the sun in Courcheval enjoying a tartiflette! that's a mega calorific concoction of cheese, bacon and potatoes! I could squeal that it's not fair but he really needs the break, he's been mega busy at work and I haven't exactly been a barrel of laughs these past few months....I hope he brings me a nice pressie back......

OMG that tartiflette sound amazing - my sister in law is Swiss and they got us raclette grills about 20 years (b4 anyone here knew what they were - in fact most ppl still don't lol). It's our favourite thing when having folk round ... Usually just fire on steak, bacon, prawns, French bread, potatoes and cheese cheese cheese! Mmm you got me thinking now! Maybe do one for a valentines treat dinner ... lol

Re pressie - I'm sure he will! He better! he will, won't he? Lol x

Good luck Sandra for your exante week. You will be so pleased come next weekend both with your nice loss and a pressie home from the slopes!

Ooooo good idea, we've got one too, somewhere! Haven't used it for ages......

I've already warned him that he'd better bring me a present, trouble is that ski resorts don't tend to have too much in the way of shopping and the luggage allowance isn't very forgiving.....if he doesn't buy me anything nice I will go out and treat myself:D I've done that a couple of times when I've only got a card for valentines day!

Thx Molly, I'd just like to get under 11 stone.....not too much to ask is it? I'm sat here with my water bottle thinking that I fancy a bacon sandwich.......not an Exante soup......for my lunch:eek:

That was just like me yesterday when I dodged the LT sachet. They are still in my locker in work!

Mmm not exactly moreish are they? Suddenly a lb a week on ww seems perfectly acceptable doesn't it? I'm getting through the day slowly........not sure whether or not to have a salad for dinner or an exante soup......not feeling hungry yet just bored!

Oooh gl on the shakes chick. Tis defo harder 2nd time/3rd time etc

My stomach is growling at me! Think I'm going to go and have a long soak and take my mind off of it!

Had Exante for breakfast and lunch. Had beans on toast for dinner........got physio first thing in the morning and need the energy.....just couldn't face a soup for dinner.

I think I'll do two Exante meals rather than three.......I was so bloody cold today .....and bored cos Paul's away.

My little sister came round and she's lost another 6lbs cos she's been really poorly this week, she's lost 15lbs in 4 weeks on ww pp. I think that's brilliant but she reckons that she was eating 4000 calories a day before so that's why she's doing so well.
