HaHa - seriously - do what you've got to do - just don't get to the end of the week with any regrets .. tis only a few days when all said and done and could see you with the few lbs you've got to lose sorted!! I couldn't do it again, I know I couldn't but if you can - and you seemed very determined up till today - do it and get it over with :D:) xx
 
Yeah, she was in a really bad way health wise. She's got degenerative disc disease and kept having blackouts and sort of mini strokes....

Have started again this morning with a shake and now off to physio. I was a bit hungover tbh so not really a good day to start even though I thought that it would be..........just as long as I'm not too shattered to do my physio, pilots and gym session. Got at least one or t'other every day this week!

I've stuck with it so far today Mary but I'm absolutely bloody freezing! I'm lying on the sofa wearing a blanket and fingerless gloves! I'm thinking about having a couple of boiled eggs.......

Did you bring the LT sachets home?
 
NOOOOOOOOOoo lol, they are still in my work locker. I just cant be @rsed with it to be honest. I am so totally not in the right frame of mind for LT sachets.

I am also going out with work colleagues on Thursday for a meal and drinks, and then meeting Jo, one of the girls I worked with a few years ago on Saturday for lunch.

Looks like another fresh start on Monday...........haha, story of my life.
 
I know, I know! I've got the perfect opportunity with Paul being away....but I just can't be arsed:sigh: I think I'll do two meals for the rest of the week cos I've got 6 exercise sessions planned for this week and I don't think that I can do them just on LT.

Right, that's it, I'm off to make eggs and toast.......

L Exante bar
D 2 soft boiled eggs, 2 slices homemade wm bread! Yum ......

Perhaps I can ease myself into a whole day of tfr? Then again perhaps not!
 
Doesnt sound like you want to tbh so even doing just 1meal a day should help a little bit :)
 
Except now I've been 'told off' by mfp for eating far too few calories!
 
Been told off again cos I've had 1157 calories but used around 1700..... What is starvation mode? I've not come across the term before, need to google it but thought that I would ask you guys first......
 
Starvation mode is when your body clings onto its body fat which is stored, because it doesnt know when it will get its next feed. This comes on when we DONT eat enough, so its just as bad to under-eat as over-eat. Hence the reason to try and use the daily calorie allowance.

Google will probably explain it in a better way than I do though ;)
 
Oh.......trouble is I don't feel hungry so I can't understand why I should eat if I don't feel like it, I never did before so don't want to start now! Is it something that happens after dieting?

I think its just something that happens naturally.

But I dont understand it fully, because on lipotrim, we are only on 500+ calories a day, and the body uses its stored fat!

Thank god for google eh!
 
Doubt it Mary - that's about the size of it. If your body isn't getting enough to sustain what it's doing your metabolism slows down to make up for it ... starvation mode ... in case you don't get enough to sustain your activities again - aint the body a clever thing??!! :)


However - there were no fat people coming out of Belsen saying 'I've got big bones' or 'my body must have gone into starvation mode' ;) :p xxx
