I don't think you can blame the day off! A day off wouldn't be the reason. Weigh yourself in the morning! Did you say you had wine last night? It dehydrates you and then your body clings to water and makes you bloated! Might be a factor!
 
Sorry about the gain Sarah but hopefully you are feeling better now and can move on. It is frustrating when these things happen but it'll pass and you just have to keep going! Just a temporary blip! X
 
So went pub tonight! Had 2 small Rose! Then a pasty (small) and one roastie! It was a retirement due for my partners boss, we didn't no there was food! I also had 4 choc when got home I don't intend on pointing any of it! And I'm gonna worry on fathers day either with the BBQ, I've decided that I'm gonna stick to the plan the rest of the wk, an use all weeklies as well! Just a little pissed off at sticking to plan and not getting anywhere (well very far) so I'm gonna enjoy my events I have and just accept any gain! I don't plan on giving up just need to b a little more relaxed for a bit!
 
Good for you Sarah! You do need to relax the diet sometimes or else life gets too miserable and you are more likely to binge! Glad you had a good night and enjoy today! X
 
Glad you had a good evening and have a good weekend planned. Being a bit more relaxed over the weekend and not pointing some things seems like a good response - overall you have done fantastically still so making the diet work for you sounds like a very sensible approach. I keep wondering about adopting this approach myself as things just aren't moving at all and I am ending up in an awful mood every saturday at the moment but I just can't quite bring myself to loosen the reigns at the moment.
 
That's my problem I'm feeling so miserable when I don't give in and I just don't enjoy events and when u don't loose weight when u stick at it u end up thinking what's the point feeling miserable for nothing! I don't intend giving up on loosing weight just need some relax time every now and again when it comes to food!

Yeah I hear ya! It's hard when you have 3 meals a day and snacks for food not to be on your mind.
Like planning the next days food etc. it gets too much sometimes.

I hope you can relax more.

Although I think its been like this for me for ages, it long pre-dates losing weight. I was always writing food plans or lists of things I wanted to make, at least they are healthier versions now.

I think thats why I am enjoying the exercise at the minute as it takes my focus away from the food a little, and sometimes I find if I have done a lot of exercise and don't have much time to cook ( like when we have been walking) food seems a bit more like fuel than usual rather than having such special significance to me.

Hope you are having a nice day, Sarah, and that relaxing over the weekend pays off both psychologically and on the scales for you.
 
I think you're dead right Sarah, you have to make this a plan that works for you and hat you can be happy on. The point of losing weight and getting to a size we want to be is to be happier with ourselves and in our lives, it's not working if you are not happy and so perhaps tweaking it a bit so that it suits you better will have a more positive effect all around. Hope you're enjoying your weekend x
 
Basically I have had 3 days off plan, and have eaten too much! BUT.... I'm fully planned for the next 4 days to have sf days, will try not to use weeklies but I may if I need butter, gravy etc, gonna try and just snack on free foods!

Obviously will gain on fri but at least there is a reason for it this wk! Still did my exercise yesterday so that's still good!
 
Sounds like a plan - I know I can't stick to using no weeklies so think allowing some is more realistic and easier to stick to :) x
 
Omg sarah! I've had 3 days of the same! Although I have done some mad exercise.

Good luck for 4 good days! You might not get a gain! Stay positive.
 
I think you deserved a couple of days out and sure you'll have good days the rest of the week. Glad you enjoyed your weekend. X
 
Well we can have the next 4 days on plan together, give each other a bit of support!

What meals do u have planned for this wk? I'm gonna have steak tomorrow!

I did measure myself today and I have lost another 1/2 inch off waist and belly from 2 wks ago so even tho the exercise helped in my first 2 wks on the scales I'm starting to think maybe that's y I'm having problems with losses at the mo, perhaps my muscle is getting more, I'm obviously loosing inches which wasn't happening b4 exercise, and I am happy to Sts on scales if I loose inches so I think for the next couple wks I might take measurements and try and not worry too much about lb losses/gains!
 
That's great that the inches are going down hopefully the scales will catch up eventually but getting smaller and more toned is even better! x
