Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

I think I prefer running outside (I get so bored on a treadmill) although I'm not a member of a gym either. I struggle when it's cold because it really makes my teeth hurt! Wish I wasn't working today as it would have been a perfect day to start! Might see if I've got time for a quick trot 'round the block in the morning before we head off to deepest darkest Essex. xx

Just been getting excited working out how much I think I could lose by the time I do this 10k. Even if I only manage to average 1lb a week, I'll be just a smidgen over 10st, which I will be so happy with! I think there are two major things in my way - our weekend in Bruges and our anniversary on 13 March, when we're away for the night and out for a nice meal. Will aim to STS those weeks.

Given a few extra weeks afterwards, and keeping up the running, I should be at target by the May bank holiday! Want to book something nice for Dave and I to do celebrate. Thinking about booking Go Ape, which I've always wanted to do! Hopefully I will be a lot stronger after doing all this exercise so I'll be able to manage it!

Oh gosh, don't get me started on jiggling - my tummy is so hideous at the moment!! Might have to find time in my plan for some ab work too! xx

I wish it was always this quiet at work - I have planned a week's worth of meals and made my shopping list (for Tesco tonight as it's quick and a proper big shop at Aldi on Sunday when I'm visiting a friend). I hope all this organisation keeps me in line!! xx

I'm gonna rifle through my old mags tonight and pull out all the new stuff I want to make.

Have made a list for next week's meals so will only need to think about snacks and extra HEX's but focused on using up stuff in the freezer so want to get some new inspiration for the following week.

Ooh no, it's not a Jamie dhal, I use this one: Tarka Dhal recipe - goodtoknow but I will check Jamie's out now!

Haha. Thanks Pip! Dave and I both love cooking and my fave thing about SW is all the yummy meals we can cook. God knows why I have to fall off the wagon and be a glutton when I can have such delicious things which don't make me fat!! xx

Lovely thank you. It was aubergine on Jamie's website. I love cooking Ben is so fussy tho it is always just for me which is annoying but I'm used to it now! He cooks amazing steak and it got him a cast iron skillet for Christmas to cook it on have had it twice was sooo good even with cheap steak :D

Chilli and curry are my faves too! And we love our slow cooker too - haven't used it for a while actually! I love being able to chuck stuff in it in the morning and having something yummy to come home too. It makes the house smell delish too, having something cooking! xx

I am LOVING all the goodness and positivity this morning! I feel like I was reading my own mind when looking at your first post today...I really feel back where I started too! Hey ho, we've gone it once, we'll do it again, and more! Target here we come!

What do you have planned for bruges?! Ahh you'll have such a fab time, such a perfect place for a romantic weekend! :) xxx

Ahh thanks gorgeous girl!

We have food plans for Bruges but not much in terms of activities. Did want to go to the Last Post ceremony at Ypres but the tours don't run in January, annoyingly. Can't bloody wait though!xxx
