Scrumpers diary the revenge !!!!

So long as you stick to the oatbran ration Scrumps... don't be tempted to increase it.

1lb is good. You're close to target.
x

seconded 1lb is great - especially after that bigger loss you had a couple of weeks ago! :)

well done for staying on track, resisting the wine and being so close to goal!!

big hugs sis :) xx

yeah wont be impressed if i go down to 1 lb a month loss though !!!!!

unlikely I would've thought... they say to aim for 1-2lbs a week loss to be healthy (obviously they weren't touting dukan at the time ;))

I think 1-2lbs a week at your weight now is a good aim to have - obviously totm might cause a stall here or there...but an STS is better than a gain! :) xx

Perhaps get them to watch "saving private ryan" before coming over, so that the full poignancy of those white graves in that field hit them. Otherwise, the museums and things are child friendly (alas for those of us who aren't!!). Haaaa! In any event, because you'll be driving near the beach, you can always stop for a break... and some nosh! (Mind you, it always rains when I'm up there...).

Can a legal exec not do it? they'd be cheaper!

not sure Jo need to get it done ...when we get to Visa app its cheaper and i can get other "legals " to do it !!! hope it will be worth it in the end

kids will just be happy they are in France on a school week !!

Perhaps get them to watch "saving private ryan" before coming over, so that the full poignancy of those white graves in that field hit them.

I actually burst into tears and starting sobbing (loudly!) in the Tyne Cot Cemetery (in Belgium, rather than Normandy). And I just couldn't stop.

There was a veteran there, but I didn't dare look at him as he probably thought I was an embarrassing idiot, poor man.

Yes, they are still incredibly moving places to visit. I think the sheer scale, the sheer number of white crosses is what grabs most people when they first visit.

I second that re those fields being very moving places. I really went along with OH for the restaurants and beach walks, but found myself totally rivetted by the history lessons too!

I also have a happy memory of stopping off for lunch somewhere, being served so much foie gras as a starter that we feared we'd not finish our meals if we ate it all. So I snuck half each portion into our serviette, bought a baguette for tea, and we ate the foie gras sandwiches in the car, facing the sea <in the POURING rain>
