Ah well I did go back to college as a full time student during my divorce as a full time student back when I was 36 - kids thought ut was quite cool at the time, updated all my IT skills for my AMSPAR (medical secretary diploma) and did AS French too, should have completed the A level I'd started but didn't think I was up to it at the time due to divorce etc - silly me cos i walked a grade A. Did think about OU but needed to get a job to keep the house for the kids and support us all: sliding doors but I did the best job in the world seeing them achieve and working in main hospital in Cornwall I was well placed to see Mum and step dad through chronic illness as well as help set up a brand new service. Life puts you where you need to be hey
French is a passion of mine which has rubbed off on my daughter. Back in old exams - you'll remember GCSEs and CSEs - I ended up with 9 good grade O levels. I know it's never too late but hubby retires in 4 years, 11.5 years older than me but to look at him you'd never know it and life changes your priorities re what's important in your life hey, which definitely includes family. My state pension age us 66 so I'll be going for a while yet . It was really hard when my parents were chronically ill for so many years and recovery after losing someone from that takes time hey from the physical and emotional toll - missing them is permanent. They would have been so very proud of all four of their grandchildren who are all doing so well - my sister has two daughters. Graduation for my son in September so loads of family photos then and a teary eyed proud mum for sure : D
Well the sun is in Cornwall today and hubby and Becky tidied yesterday so it's a day chilling down on the beach for me today whilst summer peeks it's head out
off to the beach! To be honest wasn't tidy I'd still just go today and let the dust be and soak in the sun
will be there long after my day sometimes you just have to go dance with life.
