Sharon's Before 50 Plan

Loving the coat. Where's it from Sharon? Gotta treat yourself. I tried on my wrangler jeans which I love and haven't fit into for 2 years and they fit. Yipee! Went and got my silver roots sorted on Thursday afternoon, feel good factors!

Hi Geordie it's a Joe Brown coat - EBay seller - I've ordered a 16 but they have full range of sizes in it, as I figure that will be good for being a 14 too - 18/20 at mo 18 for tops and if things are straight cut I have too much if a tummy to wear them - this is all going to be sorted lol. Currently a pear rubenesque type lol - prob will still be but a smaller version! Looking fwd to having it arrive, ordered this am - it was in my watch list for weeks at the full price. Got quite excited to see that it was reduced by £25 woop woop lol

Great that you are in those jeans - amazing feeling huh :) I did my hair colour last night - too tight to pay salon prices but do get a good cut - have to colour mine every 4-6 weeks these days due to white/grey roots - Mum on the other hand only had one grey hair in her head til the day she died at 74 - skipped those genes unfortunately :)

Tracy definitely good to get those roots done - I hate it when they start to peep through - being dark they do show up. Any news in the gall stone treatment yet?

Just had SW friendly cooked brekkie :) cooked by hubby. YAY We also now have huge pile of uni stuff taken over downstairs now until Beky can rehome it - not quite sure where at the mo lol Need to food shop today. Fireworks tonight, SW friendly BBQ tomorrow.

The piccie upload translation - 'life is full of little pleasures' important to live life whilst on the weight loss journey and treat yourself too :). Life is not on hold or a when for 'when' you have lost weight it's a journey and a life to be enjoyed in the here and now too :)

Hi Sharon
Didn't colour my hair until I was 30! It's currently needing done every 7-8 weeks, used to get away with 10. Right pain, it's only about a fiver more to get the hairdresser to do the colour, rather than paying for a cut and blow and buying a colour so worth it and she does a good job. Mam is completely white and was by 30!

Just had my own SW brekkie, devine.

My tops were a 16, just thrown some out. I will now be a 14 but do not want to buy new yet as want to shed another stone and a half and fit in a 12.

Enjoy your night and good luck with the chip temptation s!

Wow Geordie that's cheap for hair colour - haven't got anyone local that I know of that charges just that - bargain. Just about to go buy weekly food shop - but tried on two smart dresses this am that I'd worn on our cruise honeymoon when Dave and I got married 5.5 years ago - gained after and not been able to get in them and ...... Drum lol ....... They fit, they fit! Made my day :) now to continue the journey to be slimmer than he's ever known me :) skips off to do her shopping with big smiles today :)

Aqua, great news with the dresses, it makes it all worth it. I would have got rid of them before now! Where was your cruise honeymoon? We have done a couple of cruises over the years and its my fav type of holiday all be it really expensive!

Ah didn't get rid as debenhams debut and monsoon - always knew I'd get back into them one day lol lovely dresses :) Cruise was with Thompsons on the Red Sea Egypt We went to Jordon, visited Petra, Valley of the Kings, Giza pyramids, The Sphynx, Cairo Museum, Luxor temples, Nile Cruise, snorkelling, loads if stuff. Then posh frocks and shows on board. It was over Xmas and New Year - flew out to pick upthe cruise ship in 27 December 2007 :). It was a special deal we found in a newspaper so not too bad re price. Wedding was 22 December, so we had Xmas with the family and then went on honeymoon :).

Last night I did have fish and chips and a large glass of red so 41 syns but just going to get back to It today and see if I can even out the extra 26 syns a bit during the week. First time in 12 weeks where my halo was styled as an ankle bracelet but I'm relaunching it today :)

Hope you had a good Saturday Geordie .... Just about to check your diary to see if there's an update :)

Hi Sharon! Roots now sorted, lol. My hospital appointment is two weeks tomorrow, so I'll know more about the gallstone situation after that. :) xx

Well done - feels better when it's done doesn't it. :) Keep me posted re the hospital appointment.

Lol, yes it does feel better. I've started fastening my hair back now my face is slimmer - my Dad says it takes 10 years off me! - and the white roots were looking very obvious at my temples. :O I'll let you know how I get on at the hospital. But first I have my 51st birthday to survive next weekend - I intend to eat lots of naughty stuff and not feel at all guilty. ;) xx

Birthdays are for enjoying and considering how hard you've worked yo lose all that weight and the massive difference it's made to your life you're right to celebrate your special day - enjoy!

Just had a yummy bbq here and have risotto packed for lunch tomorrow - wish we had 3 day weekends! Halo on now as we're on hols 2nd week in August and I want my 2 stone award - another half stone by then :) not sure what we're doing yet, hubby's granddaughters visiting from Germany but we're planning few days us time too - just not sure what yet - anyhow until then halo bring readjusted from ankle bracelet last night to former status :)

Thanks, Sharon! I'm looking forward to a bit of over-indulgence, lol.

I agree about the three day weekend! In fact that's one of the reasons I'm looking forward to next weekend - I've booked the Monday off as that's actually my birthday.

I'm sure you'll smash that two stone award by August - we'll just keep cheering one another on, eh?! :) xx

Hello Aqua, how ru? I'm back home but I've been a bad bad cookie I had fish & chips, drink & demon crisps that are Pringles. Ask me why? Because I'm weak and also because you can't buy SW food at festivals. I know I've not time to pull it back so I'll be back on it properly tomorrow dreading weigh in tomorrow. Xx:sigh:

Hi Cookie All good thanks. It's hard with things like festivals, main thing is that you had a good time and whatever tomorrow brings just get back to it again and think how quickly the holiday gain came off - ultimately as long as we all have more good days than not we will all get there ;). Don't let it get to you and just carry on back to the plans - it's what I've done today x

Yes definitely :) definitely worth booking your birthday off - I already have the leave approved for whole week off when I'm 50 next March lol - fwd planning :)

Lol, good idea. I feel slightly juvenile booking the day off for my birthday when I'm 51, but I always used to be on school holidays for it when I was young, so it just seems right! :) xx

Hiya Aqua, just felt the effects of a full blown weekend of it, STS but hey I had a great weekend and hadn't been out for 2 weeks!!!

I got rid of some Monsoon and debenhams dresses last year but I never thought I would fit in them again!! Have to buy new when I hit target. Need to tighten my belt though as 7 weeks today to our hols.

I did an airtours cruise for our honeymoon almost 14 years ago, that was fab and got us hooked. It was to Greece and Turkey and included Istanbul which was awesome. We did a Royal Carribean cruise around the med 3 years ago which included Naples, Rome,Dubrovnik, Corfu and the highlight was Venice (cried when we sailed in, with me sunglasses on so no one could see cos it was amazing). Would love to do another but it wasn't really my daughters fav, although she made the most of it!!! Your cruise sounded fab, Thomson's are meant to be great for entertainment.

Hope you are enjoying your day, it sounds like we have all had fun this weekend!!!
