Sharon's Before 50 Plan

Girly lunch sounds great. Yes we are all different I suppose. I would get your blood s done if I was you instead of wondering?

It's ok being a good girl, rang my gp surgery and have bloods booked in first thing Mon as I have a day off work for my sons's graduation later on Monday. Decided it was better to know if it's thyroid or just work stress and/or post viral :) Am looking fwd to lunch tomorrow but so glad it's Friday - sat with a cup of Whittards caramel coffee before I start dinner. Syn free and milk from my allowance :) going to make turkey/ babybel burgers for dinner.

Had a lovely day yesterday with the girls. Lovely chilled out lunch at Wreckers restaurant in Charlestown, little harbour near here, mooch around a little craft fayre there and little shops, followed by cup of tea at Charlie's boathouse. Belated lunch for my friend Sue's 50th.

I ordered giant king prawn ( shell on) with salad and asked for whole meal bread instead of garlic bread, came with granary but no butter and a pot of sweet chilli sauce. As damage limitations go I think it could have been worse. I cooked the Malaysian chicken and red pepper curry from the SW Asian cookbook for dinner and resisted the bottle of red in my wine rack, tempted as I was as I know syns will be up for graduation and I only have four more weigh ins pre hols.

We've pre- ordered for Mon and I've ordered, seared scallops, Moroccan lamb tagine and lemon cous cous and naughty homemade cheesecake so definitely flexi syns on Monday but graduation day for my son, glass of champagne too at champagne reception after graduation ceremony. Will be good the week around it and hope for the best.

Roast chicken with loads of veggies and fry light potatoes today planned for dinner.

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

Your day tomorrow will be awesome. Enjoy it, food sounds lovely. Is your outfit decided on yet? I love days out with the girls. Havent seen my friends since before hols, we are definitely due a catch up.
I am up early. Prepared pork casserole for lunch, its in the oven then to transfer to slow cooker. Veggies also prepped as off to see GNR about 10.30. The forecast was gales and rain but its not that bad but will need to get wrapped up and large brolly needed!

Our girly catch up was long overdue as we've all been busy, definitely needs to be done hey. Think I'm wearing the new maxi dress with roses on, need to work out what shoes though. Hoping weather will be dry, forecast not too bad so fingers crossed. Tomorrow would have been my stepdad's birthday so it's really nice that graduation day is on Grampa's birthday :)

Shame you have rain for GNR but I hope you all have a good day regardless. Casserole for when you all get back sounds a good idea. :)

Hello Aqua, sounds like you had a mood time with the girlies, and made good choices too. Enjoy graduation, and the meal you've selected sounds lush x

Looking forward to it Cookie. Hubby and I went to Charlestown for lunch today and had a seafood salad so halo on :). I did my hair colour yesterday and my nails tonight so up and on to gp surgery for bloods first thing to get my thyroid checked, then back home to get dressed up ready for the off to Plymouth for graduation. Will make sure I get plenty of photos :)

Thanks everyone, it was a fantastic day :). Tracy it was University of Plymouth, just an hour from us. The graduation was held in a huge marquee down on the Hoe there overlooking the sea. Was shattered yesterday as about 6.25 hours sleep and up and on for work, been back on track SW plan wise since, but graduation meal was naughty but very special occasion.
