Sharon's Before 50 Plan

Hi Sharon, you're doing really well! Good luck for that 1.5st award this week.

I'm a fan of the Maggi bags too, really easy after a day at work and taste delicious!

Thanks Spanx :). Your own weight loss and pics is amazing, well done. Will definitely use the Maggi bags again and try some of the other flavours - all helps keep the variety in place with tasty meals and it is nice to have some easy tasty options during the working week. Chilli tonight but tomorrow trying out the Filipino pork adobo from the a SW Asian cookbook. Homemade burgers planned for Thurs night with syn free wedges which I'll prep tomorrow for ease to cook when I get back from SW WI in Thurs evening.

Well WI tonight and despite a very good week on plan I've gained 0.5 lb - been here before with an unexpected gain but the gain is not following any sort of pattern. Can but stick with it and hope to get at least 1.5 off next week to finally get the 1.5 stone award next week.

What a shame Sharon. It's a very small gain though. Sometimes I think it's difficult for our bodies to just keep on loosing!

Hi Geordie. Not letting it get to me - sticking with the plans and expecting the results to show next week :) Determined to lose a substantial amount of weight before my 50th birthday next year. Just enjoyed the Malaysian chicken and red pepper curry from the SW Asian cookbook and still have some syns left for a tipple.

These inexplicable blips happen to us all, but you know that! Doesn't stop them being irritating I know, but I'm sure it'll disappear next week (and more, hopefully!). :) xx

Hi Tracy. I'm Fine and sticking with it. Popped to the shops and bought some better fitting trousers for work as the ones I have been wearing are driving me crazy with baggy areas but all good :) Funny stage of between sizes for trousers then they all vary so much in fit - crazy really, but the ones I found will do me for a few weeks before I'll prob need to get some more smaller ones. Hope you're enjoying the weekend - it goes way too fast!

I know the feeling about the clothes! I've been making do with my old ones for ages, apart from having to buy trousers because they fall down rather than just getting baggy, lol. But recently I've bought a few new tops, as well as a much more fitted pair of black trousers, and the response from other people has been pretty overwhelming, I must say. It's amazing what a difference just putting new clothes on can make - so many people stopping me at work to say I look like a totally different person. It's a great feeling, if a little embarrassing, lol. It's quite motivating as well, because putting weight back on would be so mortifying I just don't want to go there!

The weekend has certainly gone too fast, as you say. I've got a busy week at work and have got to be in the office every day rather than homeworking, as I have an auditor coming in to audit some accounts I've been working on for ages, so I'm quite apprehensive. :) xx

Tracy you've lost so much the transformation is just stunning for people to see. With over 8 stone gone you'd be hard pushed not to have smaller trousers on the way or you'd be like Worzel Gummage tied in with binder twine :). Not quite sure how you avoided buying more tops. Natural to be apprehensive with something big happening at work but I'm sure all will be well x

Thanks, Sharon! Yes, I still have the size 30 trousers I bought for my nephew's wedding two years ago, and they're somewhat comical, lol. I'm in 16s now, so seven sizes does make a difference. As for tops, I did have some slightly smaller older ones I've been wearing, but they really are too big now. It feels good, but there's always this voice in the back of my mind saying I'm only getting these compliments because I've basically corrected something I never should have let hapoen in the first place, if that makes sense! :) xx

I think that's brilliant Aqua, we can celebrate our losses by treating ourselves with non food things, I reckon while you wear your new trousers you'll feel a little bit fabulous in them, hope they show off a bit of curve around the buttocks give your hubby a wee treat when you step out the door in the morning..

I'm following by the way and thanks for the help with my diary address not sure if the link will take you there but cheers my lovely your just ace and I love ya! Xxx

Tracy you've done amazingly well - major difference in clothes size hey. Life happens so don't beat yourself up re having been there - we are all only human. It's a major journey to get where you are and you should be very proud of yourself for having done it x Cookie the link does work, I tested it before I sent it to you x. Does feel good to have smaller trousers - hubby will be in bed as he's late start tomorrow but he's very supportive and losing weight with me - he's lost nearly 18lbs now. Definitely want to lose a whole lot more and keep it off for the future :) been a long time since I've been the weight I'm aiming for.
