Shelbell's Baby Diary

Just had my midwife appointment. All good, protein gone and BP back to normal. I think I must have just done too much late last week and over the weekend, as it spiked Monday and then started coming back down.
Fundal Height measuring 33 weeks, but that seems to be the pattern for me so no fretting.
Bean is right occipital anterior, which is almost perfect (convinced he is going to be posterior, my son was and I'm on rest so more likely to go that way).
Now its just the countdown till next Wednesdays scan and appointment to get our date!

Shell that is FANTASTIC! What a positive appointment! shows that the forced rest is doing you good too! ((Hugs))
Keep resting girlie and you'll be doing yourself no end of good.
Good luck for Weds scan too. x

Yep it does much bigger but underneath you look really slim so once bean is sfely here you will be a real slim jim again.

Keeping everything crossed for you, bean and family Shel, that big day is getting ever closer

Shell, your bump looks so cute! It's so nicely porportioned and neat! Not long for you now eh. Are you all prepared? I haven't got anything yet but I can't wait to get out there and start buying stuff!

x

Thank you :)

Yes we've got everything ready. Been told all along I could be induced any time from 27 weeks so we wanted to be ready for 27 weeks just incase! Bags all packed, nursery ready, just need the baby to come along now!

This week I've lost 1lb, but that's ok because I think it fits in with the BP problems I was having last weekend as I felt very puffy and that's gone now.

Only 3 more sleeps till scan day, and then hopefully not long till D-day! This is more likely than not the month our baby will be born :D

Oh wow shell you are looking FAB! Bump is most definately bigger!! and I'll bet baby is much bigger too. ((hugs))
Exciting to think your baby will arrive this month! I can't wait to be able to say that! lol

35 weeks and only 2 days till scan day! Busy busy day today so should go quick. Off for my jab shortly, then to aquanatal, which will be followed by coffee and cake with the ladies. After that i have the option of going to a netmums meetup just up the road if i feel up to it! If not, it will be home to do some cooking. LO is back to school today (hurrah) but he stayed at his dad's last night so I don't have to do the school run which is ace as it is piddling down out there :)

Am really craving savoury foods at the moment, meats and toast etc. Waiting for my mum to go to M&S and get me lots of yummy nibbly things :p

Morning all :) Aquanatal was hard work yesterday, and coffee/cakes lasted a couple of hours so didn't make the second meetup. Prob for the best as was shattered by teatime!

Had a bad night last night, was awake from 2.30am till about 4.30am, so today I feel tired and emotional. Got nothing planned, just my mum dropping off some shopping for me, which could be a nightmare as we have a few issues at the moment. So I'm going to take things easy and spend most of the day on the sofa, and just count down the hours till tomorrows appointment.

:( Just brought my second breakfast back up. I tend to have a cereal bar or cereal first thing with my son, then something carby mid morning. I had a pitta with ham and cheese and it wouldn't stay down. Not been sick for ages!

Hey Shell,

Well done for getting up and going off to Aquanatal! You know I've been planning to go all week and have I been yet? Big fat NO! What's stopping me? My lazy ass! Anyway...tomorrow is a new day so I'll be dragging myself there before I go and get my hair done!

Oooo, how exciting! Baby due this month! You'll have a super christmas with your new addition! It's funny you said that you and mum have got issues, same here with me and mine! I've had to keep a bit of distance between me and mine lately or else we'll end up quarreling and not speaking at all! Mum's eh! Mine seems to be driving me crazy at the moment!

x

Awww, sorry to hear you brought your brekkie back up! Pregnancy really does strange things to us and our digestive systems! Last night I had the worse indigestion ever! I had a bun and a cuppa last thing at night...big mistake because it felt like it was literally stuck in my throat and I went to bed feeling like I wanted to throw up but it wouldn't budge so I was stuck with it, on my chest making me feel so uncomfortable. No more late night eating for me!

Sorry to read you've been sick again ((Hugs)) hope it's not back for long hun. Have you managed anything else today?

Yup, been fine since :) Been a loooooong day though. Just this evening to get through and hopefully will sleep through tonight. Tomorrow got bumps and babies (last session from NCT), then lunch with the ladies before the scan at 3.20pm. Hopefully that will help the day go quickly!

Have to tell you about hubby yesterday, he made me laugh. I started antenatal expressing yesterday as i felt really uncomfortable and in need of getting rid of some milk. Anywho, my nipples were sore afterwards, so I asked hubbs to go to tesco and get me some nipple soothing cream when he was going to get the milk. You'd think I'd asked him to get a big gay pride banner and a tube of KY jelly for the way he responded! this is a man who thinks nothing of fetching my sanitary products or anything really, but for some reason, nipple cream was too much.

Anyway, after much stropping and sulking on my behalf, he eventually went :) Boys!

hee hee! men! my hubby doesn't even like kissing me on the lips if i have lippy on, just in case it makes him look like he's wearing some!

ha. surely nipple cream for pregnant and breastfeeding women would make him look more thoroughly straight if anything :D

i don't think i'll have too much of a problem with that with thomas. the danish just ask for stuff and say things and do things that the english would be mortified and embarrassed to do. i had to anglicise him quite a bit when he first arrived :)

abz xx

Well we have our date. Unfortunately my consultant turned into a hard faced b***h and didn't listen to anything we said so it isn't as soon as we would like, but it's not too far away. Monday 23rd November, at which point I will be 38 weeks. Am now in a godawful mood so won't carry on typing as it will just get bitter and moody!
