Well tonight I am having stew again, same as the other night, only I added fresh sage and lemon thyme this time. Its sat in my slow cooker as we speak, wafting nice smells through the house.

I just stripped the lounge and spring cleaned, it smells a mish mosh of smells. I have cherry blossom polish, orange laminate cleaner and coconut leather cleaner LOL. Smells lovely though!

Next job is to sweep and mop the stairs then sweep and mop the kitchen and utility room, then I can relax!

Just noshed an Ainsley harriet roasted veggie cous cous, mixed with steamed veggies, done in buttery frylite. NOM! I was starving even after I had porridge this morning!

Well fresh Thyme and Sage are a really good combo of herbs for a stew! My goodness it tasted seriously nommy!

I tried a slimming world recipe for brownies today and it was poopie pants! I tried it because they were only 3 1/2 syns each, but they were seriously awful! Its not my cooking they looked how they were supposed to look, they just did not taste like a brownie. I wasted 2 syns trying it :sigh:

So I will try and bake my version later in the week, and will keep you lovely dieters updated as soon as I have!

Really looking forward to your brownies huni!!! The ones i make are AMAZING but i wouldnt like to try and work out the syns lol

I have been asked to make cakes for a quiz im going to on Friday, i love making cakes and brownies and general baking, my friends do request things off of me but it's so hard on SW to avoid licking the spoon lol.

So yes a nice low syn recipe for nommy brownies would be brill!! xx
 
Yeehaa another 3 1/2 Ib's off!!

To say I am chuffed is an understatement! Plus I got my first 1/2 stone award.

My scales are weird cos they weigh in Ounces too, so I am just going to round up or down depending on which 1/2 its in.

16 oz in 1Ib, so if I weigh below 8oz gonna round down, if weigh over 8oz, gonna round up, unless of course I am dead on 8oz then will count as a 1/2 Ib, cos its confusing the hell out of me lol.

@Pesty the brownies will work out to be 5 1/2 syns if the recipe works, but its better than 11 syns which is the original recipe lol :) I am the same as you, my mates pay me to make them brownies lol My step dad loves my lemon drizzle muffins but their terrible for syns lol. I love to cook and bake, nothing better than SW tweaking recipes! Thats how I got so fat in the first place lol!

Off out on a date tonight with my hunky Viking. It wasn't planned but we haven't been out for months, on our own. We always try to have a couple date when we can. Anyhow we have decided to have a Chinese buffet because I can choose what I eat more easily.

I haven't eaten all day, as I went back to bed when the kids went to school cos I felt so tired. I slept til 13.15!! I overdid it yesterday. So I know why I am so tired, but it means I haven't eaten all day, as since I got up I haven't done much at all. Really achy. Serves me right, I am supposed to pace, which I am really poop at.

Anyway... Not eating is not the best thing, but it does mean I don't feel so bad about Chinese. I am not drinking, so haven't got to worry about syns for that!

Well I had chow mein, boiled rice, duck, a bowl full of Garlic tiger prawns, big spoon chilli green beans, mixed veg, slice roasted marinated lamb and pork. Small portion special fried rice. 2 chicken balls one with the batter removed. Beef in black bean sauce. Most of this was on a small plate so only small portions except for the prawns lol

Then I had 2 sm pieces of choccie cake, a snowball mallow and 3 balls choccie ice-cream with melted choccie on top. I just couldn't help myself lol.

My stomach is doing flip flops I don't think it's impressed!!

I love the green beans so I always have loads. They do a mushroom dish to die for. My stomach is not a happy bunny though lol I must have eaten 15 tiger prawns lol had to peel them. Ooo I just remembered I had skewered roasted pineapple with maple syrup.
