Silvermanes food diary - Extra easy plan

mandysbday.jpg

Last night tea of homemade burger, and crunchy wedges served with a salad.

I make the burgers in my food processor. 500g extra lean mince, 2 onion, 3 cloves garlic, 2 Oxo cubes, salt and pepper, italian herbs, 2 eggs and blitz onions before adding mince and then blitz til all combined and make into patties. You can make 8 patties. You can use this for a meatloaf as well!! :D

Had a good night last night, didnt eat takeaway, didnt go over my 4 glasses of wine, except when they dared me to get chained to the cross lol Where you always have to down a shot, but other than I was good! Although because I dont drink much, I had a wicked hangover this morning!!

Anyway as promised. My piccy!

wolf-whistle, you look gorgeous is the 2nd pic how you stopped yourself from eating a kebab on the way home "look no hands" lol, glad you had fun x

LOL! No not quite hehe, the cross is a bit of the bar's tradition, if you get chained to it, you have to down a shot. Up to now, I have managed to avoid being chained! Then my mates and my sister realised I havent been chained yet, so they dared me. :D

I avoided the takeaway, by making everyone promise to keep me away from them! TBH I didnt even want one  Which amazed me!!

and ty *blush*

Looks like you had a fun night and some yummy food! :)

It was a birthday bash night, it was my 2 step brothers birthdays and my sisters birthday, all in the same week, so a multiple celebration. There was about 12 of us, and it was mad! Great fun, suffering today tho, I hurt everywhere lol Plus I had the worst banging head this morning lol Was worth all the discomfort!

Tonight I had a beef stirfry.

I had lean steak cut into strips, then I finely chopped about an inch of fresh ginger, crushed 2 cloves of garlic.

Heat the pan with frylite, add the garlic and ginger and beef and a splash of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp rice vinegar (optional) and a dash of soy sauce. Cook the meat through. Add your choice of stir fry vegetables and a sprinkle of Chinese 5 spice and another small dash of soy sauce. Cook vegetable's through, but make sure they are still crunchy.

Serve on a bed of noodles. I use 1 nest per person.

Oh those noodles look fit! You are quite the whizz in the kitchen eh?!

They were doing press ups before I put them in the bowl! Sorry i couldnt resist! hehehehehehe :D

I LOVE cooking!

Watch this space! I am going to try and bake a low fat version of my Cookie Brownies this week, 'if it works' the recipe will be going up!! (5 1/2 syns a slice instead of 11!)

Yeehaa another 3 1/2 Ib's off!!

To say I am chuffed is an understatement! Plus I got my first 1/2 stone award.

My scales are weird cos they weigh in Ounces too, so I am just going to round up or down depending on which 1/2 its in.

16 oz in 1Ib, so if I weigh below 8oz gonna round down, if weigh over 8oz, gonna round up, unless of course I am dead on 8oz then will count as a 1/2 Ib, cos its confusing the hell out of me lol.
