Simon (Bolero's) Food Diary

I can't help but laugh everytime I see party puffs!! Xx

I love the Cinnamon Grahams - had forgotten about them! I couldn't have them on SW without counting them as syns, but I might get some now! Where did you get the Curiously Cinnamon from? I thought you had shares in Party Puffs as they seem to have been around on you diary for ages! ;)

Just googled it - appears that they are the re-branded name for Cinnamon Grahams! Even better - Aldi do their own version which seems to get good reviews. Haven't checked the price yet, but it will be quite a bit cheaper I'm sure.

Only passed about 2-years ago...the week before all the snow came that horrible winter. I remember it scared the whatsit out of me, as I got caught at work when it came down and I really didn't know what to do. Usual trip home is about 20-minutes...took me 4 and a half hours that Friday, most of it downhill. Wouldn't drive for weeks after that!

That's the plan. :) Just going to empty my freezer, and then have a lovely big cook that week.

ohh you must have passed the same time I did!! (september 2009) I quite enjoyed the horrendous snow/ice, i remember taking a flat roundabout too fast and the back arse of my car spinning everywhere haha :D oh and I actually mounted a full size roundabout that year too (rather than hit someone elses car!)

I dont drive much mostly because of my autistic fear of the uncontrolled, so I'm an AtoB person too :p Although I am going through therapy soon, and I have promised my sister that one day I'll take her to the coast (30+ miles away) for some of the fancy morellis ice cream they do up there!!

Aye, I passed the November of that year Han. :) Probably would have passed at the same time, but they cancelled on my for the one I had booked in the September...and November was the earliest they had free then. Furthest I've ever driven is to Cardiff (about 20-miles away), and have never been on the motorway...bit scared of it to be honest and very much dislike driving on roads that I don't know backwards. Fine going to my usual place of work, but if I've got to go anywhere else I'm asking my mum to drive me still.

I think I'm the only one in Britain actually buying Party Puffs. Maybe I should buy some shares in them. lol

Thanks. :) Just got back from work (fun that was too...the Buffs had a meeting at the leisure centre where the library is now located, so it was deserted this morning. Bored out of my mind!) Planning on scampi for dinner tonight, as part of my freezer clearance. It's amazing what I've got in there...found a portion of spag bol I made sometime around January in there!

I must admit that I love scampi. :) Very much looking forward to it.

It was a very nice day, even if I did end up using far more weeklies than I'd planned on. :p The cheesy fish pieces are very nice, but aren't especially cheesy. They also do veggy fish bites, but haven't tried them. Probably will do sometime though...try anything once me.
I was quite impressed yesterday to find out that Mars ice creams (which I love) are only 5pp for one of the multipack bars, so suspect I'll be using them more often now when I've got a few points to spare. :p

Glad you had a good day, sounds like you have your appetite back which is good :0)
Yum to mars bar ice cream..they are far too moorish for me so probably best I don't buy them!
Glad the cheesy fish bites are nice,I got myself some veggie fingers yesterday from Morrisons, might try them in the week.

Are you sure the multipack bars are 5pp? As far as I'm aware they're only 3/4 as they only have 139cal in them! x
I was a bit confused when eSource said they were 5pp to be honest, as when I googled it the discussion on the WW forum gave them as 4pp. Figured it best to go with eSource to be on the safe side...better to over-estimate than under-estimate really.

Must admit that I'm not all that fond on the veggie fingers (I find they don't have much flavour). What I do find quite nice, though, as nut loaves. Not sure of the company that makes them, but they sell a mix in Holland & Barret where you just add water and bake it. Gorgeous flavour of nuts & peppers in it. May have to pop out and get one later. lol.
